Thanks to Caleb and Mike for this serious discussion, and to Underwood for hosting them.
There is a review in the 45 super xtreme defender where the reviewer said he used it in self defense. It would be great to hear from that guy.
What a mutually beneficial video. Great rep on both ends of that conversation. Underwood is where it is at.
I don't know the whole story, but early on they had issues with one of their rounds. One of the owners was on a forum I was reading, and he stepped up, owned and explained the issue, pulled every box off of every shelf at their expense.
After shooting just one round of .357, I was hooked. You can easily feel the difference.
Brother, now time for healing.
But that healing never ends.
You and many many others have those scars caused by another and you have to deal with them.
And your family situation makes it even worse.
I can't even imagine.
Rock on 🤘 Brother.
And on a brighter side note, there's lots of Underwood floating around the ammunition locker here.
I brought a 10mm Smith and Wesson and I carry Underwood ammo. I immediately bought ammo that I know is tested and backed up.
After having used controlled chaos myself, I got a decent idea of what 5 shots into a human torso at point blank would do, only one word could sum that up, lethal. Thank you Caleb for highlighting this and thank you mike for sharing!
When you care to send the very best...LeHigh Defense! When the pin hits the primer, UNDERWOOD!
* 2A is the most precious mettle in America. It shall not be infringed *
Mike and Caleb: Thanks for the insightful video. But one thing...the unalienable rights acknowledged in the Bill of Rights are "endowed by (our) Creator", not the Constitution itself. Our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms therefore cannot be nullified or altered by legislative tomfoolery. The distinction is an important one.
I’m sorry if this question is out of line: the story of how your business got started was very inspiring and I was hoping for an update on Mike’s son.
Anmunition , Freedom seeds are Vitally important , if your gun doesn't go Bang when you need it to- you or someone you love may die !
That's why there are only a few ammo brands I will put in ny carry gun , Underwood is one of those brands I trust .
Norms - Not !
I had been carrying Norma JHP "defense" in my G19X , and a while ago , several months ago , I went to the local range & as I usually use FMJ at the range I do shoot my carry ammo at least a magfull , when I shot my 19 round mag of Norma ammo JHP that I actually carried- up until then , two rounds did NOT go Bang , it was not light strikes as the primers were bad & would never ignite , in checking the remaining rounds three more had bad primers !!
5 bad primers out of 19 rounds !!
Good thing that happened at the range !!
I complained to Norma & Norma never responded !
I am done with Norma !!
Shot off the remaining Norma at the range .
I now only carry Underwood , Nosler , Hornady , G6, and none have ever failed !!
Underwood 10mm runs great in my 10mm guns & 9mm 19X , and I always feel confident .
Norma No More !!
The odds I would have a rifle at hand when I needed a SD weapon are about 1000 to one. The odds that one of my long guns will ever be loaded with Controlled Chaos, zero. What is very likely if needed I will have a handgun loaded with an Underwood JHP or XD round. In fact just yesterday I placed an order with Underwood for 300 rounds of .40 and 357 Sig JHP ammo.
Wonder if he had ccw insurance. If it was uscca would leary as they dropped Alan Cole and only decided to defend after they got bad publicity
near the end think he said US Lawsheild,
USCCA is an Insurance company , Insurance companies are " risk management" companies , the
" risk" they manage are their profit margins , so , no I don't need them , Firearms Protection is the much better & reasonable , Attorneys on Retainer seems good ,
As for Tim Kennedy , after what he said about 18 to 20 year olds & ARs , I do not trust him when he says " trust me"
