That was very helpful. It’s been 18 or19 years since I’ve purchase my first split and cut my own skin. I’m so happy to have a new board and I have new skins to cut, they are in the mail I can’t wait.
re using a lighter/singeing the edge. Seems like a good idea as I've seen lots of fraying of edges over the years. Any issues doing this on a 100% mohair skin? Not sure what type these were in your video. thx

Another great video; both instructive and to the point! But when it comes to using that lighter, is there any risk of damaging the edge of the glue?
i never had any problems with the glue, but i always try not to burn the glue too much but the skin only
Awesome vid! Could you maybe do a video on waxing and edge sharpening?
maybe in the future :)
Bro Im 12 and its litterally the most basic thing in terms of maintenance 4 skis

Why do you use lighter at the end?
where can i buy those skins and what is their price?
You can buy them online but i am not sure if they ship worldwide because it is still a smaller company. Price is between 110 to 200 € i guess.
