Do you guys ever hot wax your skins for Spring tours? Pros/cons? Best technique? How does that compare to the G3 waterproofing skin spray? I.e., which one lasts longer?
Yeh you really underestimated the differences between skin glues. For my Kohla mix skins it's literally mandatory to use cheat sheet if you don't want to fight with them with full force every single time you put them back onto your skis. Just cut the cheatsheet in half, take them with you and it'll make your day out there a lot easier.
Try cutting your mesh sheet in half, then pull your heel to tip, stick the mesh and pull the other half off and fold em.. so easy after a couple times and saves your glue
Really too bad when the middle guy displays his skin technique, the view of what he's doing is blocked by his ski almost the whole time. 3 guys talking among themselves, neither they nor the cameraman think of the audience much.
I’d been splitboarding for years & this improved my skinstallation and removal a lot. Thanks!
This video was excellent. Thanks guys. I only wish the ‘thirding’ technique was a little more visible.
Great tips and great presentation style ... I learned and enjoyed :)
wow some great techniques, thanks
Very helpful thank you!
Great tips!!!
Do you use waxless or waxable skis with skins and half or full skins good vid
Great tips, thanks
03:00 Thanks, that's a great way to skin down! (do you guys say that?)

What if skins are too gluey? They leave glue on my base and that sux for glide.
I’m not short but my skins are suuuuuuper sticky. Folding the skins in thirds like these guys showed makes it a lot easier to put on.

Il existe des toiles à mettre sur les peaux pour pouvoir les décoller facilement et éviter que la colle fasse des paquets. ☺
All good info
