There's going to come a point where if you pick up an item, the game will just crash.
Bottled Chaos is that point
@@raydans I more mean immediately crashing upon picking up an item, not using the item, lol. The game still has to calculate how an item stacks and I assume if the number is high enough, it'll either stutter upon item pickup or crash, depending if it has to also apply it to the character.

@@aswinsworld6184 I don't think that's entirely the case. Passive effects would still be calculated ahead of time. Stuff like feathers, movement, crits (even if it caps at 100%), Egocentrism, ect.
If you use mods to tell you how an item stacks, it usually shows the stacked values. I'd assume this is what the base game does regardless too. Keeping track of how many items are stacked and what it's value is supposed to be, for math purposes.
Ego is probably a bad example to bring up since it's effect is always active but it isn't used, it's applied to the player which was kinda my point.

Okay I don’t know if you’ll see this and I don’t know if this is possible, but for 20k you could do you have 20k items at any time and it’s evenly split across all your items (20k copies of 1 item, when you pick up another it goes to 10k copies of each, pick up another unique item 6.666k copies of each, so on and so fourth)
I have plans for the 20k already but this is a good idea for something else in the future

I don’t know how but in base game vanilla for console, I got 10,000 crowbars on stage 5 with no mods. I guess when my friend was streaming the game, it lagged it so much that when I picked up a crowbar it thought I took 10,000 instead of one. Safe to say mithrix kicked our butts.

I accidentally picked up egocentrizm with artifact of exponent which is multiple your item in geometric progression. In the end I have 41K of egocentrizm before my pc die.
