I'm fairly certain that shuriken has a small amount of tracking, and since there were no enemies close by to lock on to, it flew straight for once and targeted the blazing beetle guard
Raydans, as an enginner main I need to tell you, bubble shield is your best friend, it shields against anything outside which is good as long as no blazings get in, so, for once use it

Hey, Raydans. I had an idea for a video that I tought would be fun. It requires the WolfoArtifact mod and Skillswap mod. Use metamorphosis + transpose (the artifact that randomises abilities), so random survivor with random abilities from every other survivor. for maximum silliness, use the mod that discounts item rarity (I don't know it's name)
The money overflow reminds me of my one run where it got to the point only celestine and malachite scavengers would spawn
