Great video, as always! Love your knowledge. Does this formula separate in the heat after being set up in a jar? Texas heat can be tricky.
I haven't had any separation issues, once it's emulsified and cooled down it's stable.
What is the inci for the emulsifying wax used?
The INCI name for emulsifying wax NF is Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Polysorbate 60
Can i change the emulsifier?,nf,or olive emulsifier?
Yes, you can replace with another e-wax
Thanks for sharing! I have used the body butter recipe that you have made earlier, it has stearic acid but in this recipe you used Cetyl alcohol?
Yes, they are both fatty thickeners but each have a different skin feel.

@EllenRuthSoap However, I will buy emulsifier...as if...I wouldn't risk it 😀....I'm a beginner, thanks for the answer!
Do we HAVE to use the cetyl alcohol? I don't have any and need this for a Christmas gift
The cetyl alcohol adds a nice skin feel, you could leave it out and increase the e-wax just a bit..?

This would hold a bit of whip, but will probably fold after a while..

I'm using Optiphen.
Hi dear what the cedyl alcohol for and do wey have to add it? Tgks
It's a thickener and adds a nice skin feel to the cream.
Thank you for sharing the recipe, I have a question: How can you keep it without melting in fair or for delivery?
Most emulsified body butters are okay for shipping without melting issues.
Hi Ellen! I love your videos ♥ Can I just ask what is the difference between "emulsified" body butter and a thick body cream? Or is there no difference really?
I think the biggest difference is that a thick lotion doesn't need to have "butters" in it, and an emulsified body butter will be heavy on the butters.

What is used to bind water and oil and how and how much? How does glycerin dissolve? Do you have a recipe for face cream?
Thank you very much 💜
The emulsifying wax, or E-wax holds the water and oils together.

Cocoa butter
