    Hey Ellen! I really admire you, I wish I would’ve known about your products when you were retailing!
    I have a small business and want to add new products and I thought I’d be good to add body butter, I know you create small batches/portions, for this particular recipe how many 4oz jars can you get?

    • @EllenRuthSoap
      @EllenRuthSoap  3 місяці тому

      if you add up the total ingredients, you should be able to calculate how many jars needed.

      I found another recipe that you have for a 32 oz volume, instead of stearic acid can I use Cetyl alcohol? And if so how much can I use?

    Can you suggest any other e-wax substitutes,please. Unfortunately we don’t have this particular e-wax( which is very popular in USA).Unless it’s on Etsy for high price.
    Thank you ❤

    Do you like this recipe better than the other emulsified body butter you’ve shared? This one is a few less ingredients. I’m curious which you personally like more? Thankyou for sharing and you are amazing!

      I like this one because it is an easier recipe and has a lighter finish. I love the other one because it's so deeply moisturizing... they both have pluses.

    I have all the ingredients except the alcohol. Can it be omitted or substituted?

    • @EllenRuthSoap

      You could leave it out and bump up the E-wax just a bit.

      Great. About to pull my ingredients out. Thank you
      BTW l use only essential oils because I'm all about natural. I'm about to make a soap using beet juice to see how it colors the soap. 🤞
      You are so inspiring. I'm sure that brings you such 😊

      @@patriciaboatman8423 I tried using beet powder in soap. After saponification the soap was left with no color at all. Try using rhubarb powder instead. Beautiful reds and pinks.

    Where do you buy your fragrance oil from for body butters? For example the one you use in this recipe. Also where do you buy all of your body butter supplies to have good quality supplies and costs down?

    Are you heating it up to at least 170° and holding temp for 20 minutes on your water phase to prevent bacteria growth.

    • @EllenRuthSoap
      @EllenRuthSoap  4 місяці тому +3

      I used to be much stricter about that... I heat and hold, but feel that the preservative is enough to cover bacterial growth.
