Bought my first Xkr 5.0 supercharged a month ago. An absolute beast of a car . So much torque. Cant stop looking at it outside my kitchen window. One very happy owner..great video.
A very under rated car the jag 5.0V8 I've got an xjr575 supercharged v8 it's like nothing I've ever driven as I above in my comment but I'm.like yourself I'm still in the oh my god that's my car stage even 6 months in I can't stop staring at it goosebumps everything I hit the button
France, Marseille here ! I’ve just sold my Porsche 997 4S to buy a XKR V8 5.1 510hp and i don’t regret the switch. Two différents cars but my Jaguar is a beast !!!

I daily drive a 2014 xfr, it is by far the best car ive ever experienced, that V8 is an absolute gem of an engine

On my third XKR. Which is the last roll out 2015 Dynamic R version with the black pack, which gives you almost the same car as the S type. Loved the first one I had and love this one even more than the first. What a car. It’s old now, but only done 16,000. Tried the F type as I planned to buy one, but too small inside and uncomfortable. The F type does cannot compete with XKR. I will keep my beauty and very happy to do so.

Last real Jag before they went down the bland plasticky tat route. Gorgeous. F-Type can’t hold a candle to it.
I have both and disagree, I can't make my mind up which one I like more - they are very similar but very different too - oh the joy of first world problems.
@@sichere i traded my f-type in for the xkr.. all my friends were asking WHY?!? Because i've done the f-type.. loved it.. but now i wanted to try the big beast and i love it. Mine is pretty much exactly the same as this car in the test.. same year and spec. I got £3k back from the dealer for my 2014 F-Type V6 when i traded. That's a bargain for the amount of car you get with the XKR.
I’ve had a couple of XK’s but I’ve heard the F type will rattle the teeth out of your head. Choppy ride?

Got the xjr575 never driven anything like it its insane acceleration yet its got amazing economy had 57mpg on a run and 35 around town so nowhere near as thirsty as people think for a car that's almost 600bhp and 700nm but being a rear wheel drive it keeps you on your toes revving away at speed you have to give yourself room as alot if people aren't quite as quick as the xjr I find lol was this the 510bhp xkr or the xkrs 550 bhp handsome little beast you got there
Really nice cars. Love to find one in the right spec one day. Its so stupid, though, the rear windows don't roll down. It would look amazing.

Is that Swainby? Used to take my dogs for a walk up there a few years back. Loving the 5 litre burble. Looking to get one soon to compliment the XJR. That chicane toawrds potto is always a good one to blast around at speed. very satisfying.
