ayy nice bro was it the same as this? an XKR, and how is your maintenance going/fuel costs etc. because it has a v8 engine - whats the mileage you have been getting. my only concern is that it has a v8 it would have bad fuel efficiency, can be costly to maintain, but that's how its suppose to be. and how about the overall experience, is it a good daily driver car or you shouldn't drive it everywhere. Is there enough storage space, overall experience/driving etc. Let me know 😁
@@theweeknd2725 I have a 4.2 xk8 normally aspirated had it a few years now it’s got 120,000 on the clock now tyres are expensive but other than that it’s very affordable I get 25 mpg on a run and 22 round town, if you like the car buy it life’s to short to drive shite 😉

I love the XKR, I'm actually working on buying one but the Maserati looks and sounds just a bit better. Not that I'd ever buy a Maserati but side by side I think the Maserati wins just barely.

It’s the jag for me ! The Maserati will break down before it gets to the end of the road it’s a money pit,the jag has a bullet proof engine as long as it’s maintained regularly and the jag shape especially rear end is stunning.
Same with the Maserati? If you look after it it’ll be fine, I’d say the jag is the worse car for reliability, knowing since my dad is a mechanic for 30+ years and owns one of these granturismos

I was going to buy the Grandtourismo but I ended up buying the Jaguar XKR 175 at the same price range. The Maserati Grandtourismo has had several brake line failures at 27K miles in the vehicle history. I think that's why the previous owner sold it at very low mileage, it kept going back to the shop for repair.
Why do people spew BS? I have a 2015 granturismo Mc with 53k miles. I do the yearly maintenance and change the oil every 5k miles. I've never had an issue. My father has a 2010 quattroporte with 115k miles. Again, maintenance is done yearly as required. No issues either. So, don't compare a POS ghibli to a true Maserati, which is the granturismo.

@SAVAGE77 ive had 2 turbo and 3 supercharged cars and ive driven this ghibli s for almost 2 years and put about 30k miles on it from 20k with no issues. Most people thrash turbo cars without getting heat in the system and the lack of oil flow at proper viscosity kills them. Take care of your vehicle and itll take care of you

I just trade in a 2016 jaguar xf for a 2020 Maserati quatroporte...biggest mistake of my life. I wouldn't bought this car but Jaguar doesn't make the XJ anymore, this car or Cadillac were the only options for me. I'm not doing Audi , BMW or Mercedes, it's in my blood. My wife choose the Maserati , she likes it, but I would have chosen the Cadillac XT6 or CT6V. I feel sorry that I choose to pay for that Maserati, big disappointment. If Jaguar was still making decent cars i would have bought one but the even downgraded the engines for XF for the same money, so....i said pass.

The ghibli s engine is assembled by ferrari in modena and the rest of the car is made in the same maserati factories at maranello
