I think it does help to have such a beautiful harp with those fantastic levers too, but clearly you’re an Angel descended to sit behind it and play so beautifully. 💐🌟🥰
The harpist is a fairy, the music is a dream, and the performance is quite amazing! I never thought that this could be played on a lever harp. You are the greatest master of lever change, too, without doubt. I think I'll never be able to do that so smoothly. Thank you for uploading this inspirational video!
Thank you so much for watching and for your lovely words! The lever changes did take a lot of practice (and I made a lot of mistakes along the way!)😆 but I'm very pleased if you enjoyed it, thank you! 🥰
Wow what a magnificent interpretation dear Tamsin! All in velvet, and with absolutely incredible lever change management. Truly great art. Congratulations and thank you for this admirable listening moment 💐💐👍. Musical friendships of France, Phil
Thank you so much for such a lovely kind comment - I'm just very pleased you like it - and for a French musician to approve of my interpretation of Debussy, this makes me very happy! 🥰
@@TamsinDearnley I confirm that you are a rare artist Tamsin!! Indeed, the works of French composers are so endearing 5Satie, Ravel, Fauré etc). But beyond that, you always have a lot of respect in your arrangements and interpretations. Apart from the change in tone, but which does not upset the listening at all. Really fantastic. Congratulations again and thank you for your research which really advances the repertoire for the lever harp, I'm a fan 👍🌺.
Wow, Tamsin, absolutely breathtaking. You are taking us into a dream. This is the most soulful, gentle, closest to Debussy version of this piece I ever heard on any harp.
I have a lever harp and I didn't think this was possible and honestly I always stuck with songs that never had any key changes but you have inspired me to try. And if you have any tips and advice, I would much appreciate. Thank you and excellent work.
Are you a good therapist Tamsin dearnly ?! Because your song make me feel bether . Maybe you improve my deep sleep with that ❤ I hope you play more and more ! 🎉 perfect❤
Thank you! 🥰And haha, it took a lof of practise and quite a few takes to get one I was happy with - video is so much less forgiving than concert performance 😆
Wow. You damn did it!. I have been dreaming on playing this piece on my lever harp literally for decades. You made my dream become real. Congrats and all my admiration!
Ahhh, I’m so pleased you like it! Thanks so much for watching 🥰 good luck with it - as you see it’s totally doable, just required (at least for me!) some patience in the lever department 😆
Thank you - I'm so glad you liked it - it was (eventually - I won't lie, there was some in the middle as I was working on the arrangement...! 😆) satisfying to learn! DO give it a go!
Stunningly well played Tamsin, I'm in awe of your lever changes! I adore this piece and as we share the same Eos harp, I feel I should at least attempt it, having heard you make it sound so beautiful. Thank you! :)
That’s so lovely of you to say, thank you! 🥰 it took a lot of practice but I’m glad I persevered 😉 And ahhh, you have an Eos, amazing! Aren’t they such gorgeous harps ❤️ do give it a go, it’s such a beautiful piece!
I'm so glad you like it - thanks so much for watching! I just wanted to see if I could do it, and i'm really pleased i managed to make some kind of workable arrangement in the end...!
thank you so much you are literally my saviour!! i find it impossible to find well-written classical music for the clarsach so you have made my day if not my week!! will def be trying this💘💘
Ahhh, thanks so much! Is there something in particular you're looking for that you can't find? I'm always looking for fun new challenges...!😆 It's a real mental challenge to arrange thing sometimes, but super satisfying when something eventually works...! 🤩

Dear Tasmin, thanks for this! I also tried on the lever harp as this Is One of my fav Pieces, yet got discouraged. Perhaps your sheets music Will help this time!!!
Haha, it was a lot of work but I also enjoyed it ;) (i'm not so much of a masochist to put a lot of work into a piece I can't stand! 😆).. thanks so much for watching, very pleased you liked it! 🙂
Thank you so much for watching! I just made sure to play it really slowly until I had the two parts properly in sync against each other. I find it helpful to practise short sets of 2 against 3 and 3 against 2 polyrhythms first to make sure that my brain is warmed up before going for the full bar. This video I think is really helpful: ua-cam.com/video/0Y_cXA-Uglc/v-deo.html :)

Playing classical music on a lever harp is difficult. I am amazed at how you changed the levers without missing a single note. Way to go!
Thank you so much! It took a lot of practise, and there were a lot of times I did miss notes…! 😂
Wow Tamsin!!! I can barely play this on the piano and you make it look so easy on the harp!!!
Incredible!!
I admire how bold and ambitious your are creating music on your lever harp.
I think it does help to have such a beautiful harp with those fantastic levers too, but clearly you’re an Angel descended to sit behind it and play so beautifully. 💐🌟🥰
Amazing, you can play it with lever harp, thank you for sharing.
It took a bit of thinking about, but I’m glad I persevered…! Thanks so much for watching 🥰🎶✨
