@Radical Larry if Snyder cut counts wandavision definitely counts, Thor, Ironman, worthy Captain America, Doctor Strange, Wanda and vision, and captain marvel would probably be able to beat the JL in Snyder cut, Darkseid is more powerful than Thanos there is no way around it but the avengers just have the numbers advantage, the only way the JL stands a chance is with flash, and even then I think vision would be able to calculate where he would be or trip him, with flash falling surprisingly often, so I would say the Avengers would win that fight

The reason why steppenwolf wasn't able to cut with superman with his axe was because superman got a huge power boost from going into space and absorbing the sun's radiation. Just wanted to add that in

The one thing your not taking into account is combat speed. If you consider the speed of Wonder Woman and how Stephenwolf was able to keep up and even best her it’s something to be considered.
Speed in DCEU is all messed up lol. WW wasn't using her speed. It's like she forgot about it for the sake of the story. Superman dodged everything he had except the most lethal one only to break his ax lol. I don't think it even damaged the suit 😂

@@bradgrand79 Well just to give you a bit of why I say speed is crap in DCEU. Batman was able to dodge DD several time by shooting a grappling hook then rapeling himself away which is extremely slow way of dodging an attack . Then Sups and WW are not moving very fast against DD. Another fight Flash runs as fst as he can gets shot by a parademon then magically is able to reach speed of light . Which is insane. Aquaman seems to move relatively slow when fighting . They can't seem to decide when to use speed and when not to. Sups and Zod had speed then DD and Steppenwolf didn't . Steppenwolf had trouble catching up to the horses lol. Makes no sense at all. Btw it takes like 2.5 second to get to the moon and back to Earth at the speed of light. Goodluck making projects with Flash in it . Everyone are statues to him.

Superman can literally squish MCU Thanos and no way Darkseid will be weaker than him. Squishboy could barely handle Thor. Moreover you made the comparison based on 10 minute glimpse of the character and tried to tell the audience that Darkseid’s feets don’t compare to Thanos.
That’s because dc likes overpowered characters and marvel does not, that’s why marvel is the better franchise in my opinion.

We know that hulk from the comic is stronger but the idea is that Thanos beat him with skill. He will beat Steppenwolf the same way. Plus I think the double blade is sharper than his axe.
The irreparable damage physically from the Gauntlet comes from when they use all 6 stones simultaneously. Hulk, Ironman and Thanos snap was the thing which killed Ironman/weakened the others. The act of putting all 6 stones on your hand at once is impressive but not the causation as suggested here.

It is closer than you think. They are both very old and experienced. One problem is that Steppenwolf was really on in one movie to show it and it ended with him fighting a Superman like we never seen on screen which isn’t fair to anyone haha. Prior to that he was handling the JL pretty well. WW is one the best fighters in comics and Aquaman is massively strong as you see in his film lifting a submarine. He didn’t struggle much with them at the same time. His armor is alive and durable. Steppenwolf appears more powerful when he swings the axe and he jumps for hundreds of yards. Thanos however appears like a real fighter the way he battled Hulk and others. It seems like Steppenwolf didn’t get to show off as much. He didn’t really want to fight as he just kept focusing on the mother boxes while eventually Thanos was pissed off and wanted to enjoy fighting them in End Game. Thanos has the edge with more on screen fights and showing his combat skills but I bet Steppenwolf would give him a hell of a fight. He would probably block the axe but he will feel it and probably knock him backwards. Thanos is capable of bleeding as you see from IronMan giving his all so Steppenwolf could make him bleed. Thanos woudl overcome in the end but I wonder what the experienced Darkseid would do. He was younger in the flashback but it took Gods to stop him

Steppenwolf was strong enough to crush atlantean steel and keep up with wonder woman and aquaman at the same time... thanos struggled with only 3 avengers with only 2 at their peak and still not as op as wonder woman who was able to cut clean through cars, concrete and even a juiced up doomsday. Thanos had to use his sword to deflect most of their attacks while Steppenwolf gladly took al the leagues attacks fully armored or not.
I think Zack Snyder is on drugs or something. Doomsday is the guy who literally destroyed Darkseid himself. Steppenwolf is just a puppy in front of doomsday.

About that video, I think him saying Thanos won against "Darkseid" was kind of wrong, he should have pointed out Thanos would had won against Uxas, since Uxas was the one who fought against the OldGods. THE Darkseid is the one we saw in Cyborg's knightmare and ending.

Because Steppenwolf was able to contend with Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Both of those characters are stronger than pretty much any of the Avengers. Granted Superman easily beat Steppenwolf but he is leagues and bounds stronger than Captain Marvel and Thanos was struggling against her. OK let's do a little power scaling. In BvS in a newspaper article it says Superman has shifted a tectonic plate so about 24 quintilion tons. When superman and wonder woman fought doomsday Supes and wonder woman were doing about the same against Doomsday. Which puts Wonder woman on around Superman from BvS power. The reason superman beat wonder woman is that he came back stronger than he died.

Steppenwolf is established to be more powerful than the BVS Doomsday, & on par with the original Doomsday, he also ripped Atlantians in half while under water & fought an entire army of Amazonians. Fought the entire justice league, killed all the apokalips contenders to Darkseids throne, that isn't anywhere near weak.
Versatility was what gave sun-kissed superman the edge throughout their encounter.
Firstly Thanos can't no-sell a powered up terraforming weapon to his body, gamora with a knife believed she could slice his neck open, thanos was also reacting to Peter quills gun whiplash & got scarred by iron man.
Secondly the infinity stones aside thanos also can't freeze breath weapons that can cut him, he couldn't defend against lightning attacks & steppenwolf will also be able to access.
Thanos has yet to face anyone who's an established speedster & come out on top, he can comfortably react to Ironman & captain America but has trouble keeping up with captain marvel, Thor from infinity war who're not faster than aquaman or wonder woman.
His encounter with steppenwolf won't go similarly to steppenwolfs encounter with superman.

Which other supposed durability feat does he have except his handling of the infinity stones, which was stated to be more of a power feat than a durability feat, only weak guys like hulk, Ironman would need regen or durability when handling it but powerful dudes could use it at will without needing to be durable or have regen?
Dude was getting tossed by Capthor, Thor, captain marvel, Ironman, Dr strange, Wanda... so if his handling of the infinity stones was a durability feat it would place these guys that hurt him at an above infinity stones level which would be ridiculous, all the enemies of Thanos who were trying to harm him were also armed with piercing, slashing weapons from infinity war Thor, gamora, to even Ironman & drax which would pretty much reveal he was susceptible to these attacks.
Ironman, drax, gamora aren't anywhere close to doomsday, Faora, any shown enhanced kryptonian, Zod, Ares, Uxas, Zeus, Shazam, steppenwolf, the other children Shazams, the wizard Shazam, the seven deadly sins & its wielder, wonder woman, Atlan, the old gods, Mera, Aquaman, other Atlantians, Flash...
So no Thanos won't be considered durable in dceu if Ironman can hurt him any of the guys above would definitely do more than hurt him.

Thor is durable yes but he has never been a benchmark for what's impressively durable, not in the comics but maybe in the MCU but they're so inconsistent with his durability I mean THOR even doubted he could break the glass window in ragnarok, without needing the ball that bounced back & hurt him lol I can't see any ball doing that to superman, some device leach pierced through him to shock him lol, his hair was later trimmed easily without needing some special tools.
What Metal structure, when Wanda was squishing him or which metal structure is that? If not the Wanda feat then go & watch superman, doomsday, Faora, zod, Shazam, Aquaman, wonder woman, others... go & watch how many buildings were destroyed by those guys just exchanging punches, meanwhile the avengers were trapped under just one building, even batman has an above building durability using his metal suit...

Storm breaker might not even touch superman, dudes a legit speedster, we already know the hammers aren't nearly as fast as even quicksilver who's nowhere near superman in terms of speed. So no
Thanos isn't close to even be in the discussion against the more durable characters from dceu.
Ironman isn't drawing any blood from superman, Zod, Shazams & many others... Spidermans kicks would have no effect, if superman gave captain marvel a headbutt she'd not be tanking it so effortlessly so no.
The MCU isn't stronger.
The infinity stones would have a counter with The Anti-life equation,
The power stone alone would have a counter with unity due to similar planet busting feats, similar teleportation techniques, mcu time warping Vs Speed force time warping... Plenty more counters from each community.
If you go & focus on the characters then it depends on the heavy hitters, only Dormamu & maybe the celestials would have no straight up counter & dceu would need a team to take them on...

Then Aquaman and Wonder Woman had to pull together Steppenwolf. Steppenwolf also jumped from the water ruins to the ground, as a show of his strength. So I don't see Thanos without the IG stomping. Respectfully I disagree. Without the gauntlet Thanos would lose. If they're fighting with only their weapons and the armor they wear Steppenwolf would win. Why? Because Steppenwolf was able to contend with Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Both of those characters are stronger than pretty much any of the Avengers. Granted Superman easily beat Steppenwolf but he is leagues and bounds stronger than Captain Marvel and Thanos was struggling against her. Doomsday gets stronger over time as he adapts to his threats, altho his adaptation depends on the threat. If the threat is around his level than he will adapt smaller, lesser buffs to overwhelm the opps. If the opps are unimaginably greater than Doomsday and kill him, then Doomsday will evolve complete immunity to them and overpower them in an instant

If this is thanos from endgame with no stones, Stepphanwolf from snyders cut would win this, He fought the original Doomsday who ended up destroying the moon, On screen.
