The iPhone 14 battery is getting replaced. The back should be removed to access the bad battery, and a new one should be installed. I have been busy if not I have videos coming that will take care of all Apple (like it or not) software locking stuff but you'll need to get parts from Apple directly (higher priced items). Batteries are not badly priced from my opinion.

You can use isopropyl alcohol to disolve the glue, it will make it easier to open the back glass
Yep that another way to do it. I use alcohol whenever heat doesn't work. Unless heat will cause damage then alcohol will be my first choice.
Excellent video. I’ve seen other tear downs for the IPhone 14 where they removed the front screen and had extra steps. Your video convinced me I can just remove the back screen and be okay. Will be doing my battery replacement soon!
If you get the battery from Apple you won't have the issue of battery Stat disappearing. Their battery is more expensive than aftermarket stuff but at least you're certain that you will have an original battery and no feature loss due to unprogrammed battery.

I had to replace the body as the blue was badly broken. I separated into multiple steps or videos. I true believe that honesty is extremely important which is why I only show stuff that I tried I did and worked. If I try and it failed I'll share so that someone doesn't do the same thing.

After replacement, does it still have waterproof protection?
I honestly would not consider it water resistant and specially avoid Submerging the whole device in water. It may still be fine having water on the body but Submerging no.
I accidentally fell asleep in the bath and submerged my entire iPhone just left it off charge and let the charging port dry out and was completely fine without a case
