I've been on TONS of woodies......this one, by far, THE best woodie I've ever been on. The airtime is amazing, and the first drop takes your breath away! I love this coaster so much. For as short as it is, it definitely packs a good punch! This was always be my favorite, other than another classic woodie, the Thunderbolt at Kennywood. I recommend this!
This is my home park. I LOVE THIS COASTER! The retired CEO said Waldameer spends 100K each year to use a computerized analysis to find rough spots and rebuild those sections of track. He said to fix a small spot they have to rebuild dozens of feet of track on each side of the spot to smooth it.
Rode this for the first time this past Sunday, the park was so empty I hopped on 26 times in a row, this is the smoothest wooden coaster I've ever been on and the airtime is amazing!
I got to Waldameer for the first time yesterday to ride this thing. I can definitely understand why it so highly rated because it has such amazing airtime, and great laterals. That being said OMFG this coaster beats the hell out of you!
if you think RFII is rough go ride anything at Luna Park or Wonder Wheel Park at Coney Island especially the Cyclone. RFII is like ice skating by comparison.
This ride desperately needs headrests. Went on it earlier this year, and had a headache for the rest of the day. Still pretty fun, and it's faster than the video implies.
Holy crap look at all that new wood! It is well weathered now. You have got to ride this at night. Those tunnels are pitch black and you get mad airtime.
I rode that ride when I was about 9 and I didn't like it but I'm thinking about going on it again this year to see if I can handle it or not but yeah we will see
This was my first coaster ever I rode it the first year it was open. I want to go back but after going to cedar point 6 times I won't have the same fun on the ride I first did. Oh well that first hill is great though from what I remember.
+ainsoph1 it is NOT a Hybrid - A coaster is classified by its tracks only. this is classified as a Wood coaster because it has traditional all-wood track - doesnt matter that a lot of the support structure is steel. Hybrid is a term used for a wood coaster that has been re-tracked with all-steel track as RMC is now doing to a lot of old wood coasters that have become really rough do to the constant exposure to the eliments

Savannah Dodson rode it first time today. Unbelievable, didn’t expect it, and it put me in my place. Great woody!
Yeah, I'll take el toro over this.

Thanks for being in Waldameer. I'm 35 minutes away from there. 90 dergree is so fun on it.

Rode front seat a few times yesterday. Totally awesome.
I wanna try this roller coaster. When you see that turn that banks 90 degrees, wave your hands up👋👋 and scream😆, "90 DEGREES!"
The video just doesnt capture the sheer intensity and fun of this coaster... Ride in the back seat for amazing ejector on that first drop
This ride desperately needs headrests. Went on it earlier this year, and had a headache for the rest of the day. Still pretty fun, and it's faster than the video implies.
I'm so proud of my hometown(Erie pa) and waldameer!!!!
rode this four times a couple weeks ago and the sunset over the lake from the tops of the hills is just breathtaking.
I am sold! Got to get on this ride. Wow!
I love this ride such a rush!!!
I’ve watched this video since I was 7 and I have finally left a like on it today.
best ride ever and looking forward for the 3 new rides were getting this year
I remember screaming 90 DEGREES when I went on this back in August 2019
I rode this yesterday 2 times and i LOVED IT!
It's about time for a nice 60fps update for this great woodie! :)
The TPR choir has come...
that is my favorite ride and I'm 12 :-)
Rileigh Sidun
its one of my favorites too. I was like 12 when i first went on it and now I'm about to turn 16
wait you guys were twelve when first it thats the age i first rode top thrill dragster at cedar point
Looks very underrated no one talks about it.
It seems like it would be a terrain coaster from the name. Oh and I love the rear pov
Fantastic video for a fantastic ride.
Holy crap look at all that new wood! It is well weathered now. You have got to ride this at night. Those tunnels are pitch black and you get mad airtime.
El toro and Jack Rabbit have great airtime. Skyrush has the most intense airtime I've ever felt.
I loved this ride because it goes over a main road in Erie
I go here every other week
Me too
90 degrees !!!!! but i miss TWISTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!
I like it !! cool video as expected !!
you got the best job in the world!!!
I used to live somewhat 25 min away. I rode this once when I was about EIGHT or SEVEN. Scary then.
I know! It was so scary!
I rode that ride when I was about 9 and I didn't like it but I'm thinking about going on it again this year to see if I can handle it or not but yeah we will see
this is my favorite rollercoaster of all time
I'm going to waldameer next week. Please be fun!
did you enjoy?
Did you ride thunder river? I love it!
Marissa Nowacinski
No I don't think so.
Waldameer is awesome
The sequel is always better than the original.
such a great coaster!!!
The ravine flyer is the 6th best wooden coaster in the world
Its funny because I live about 20 miles from there. I go there at least twice a year lol
I rode this coaster in June 2012, and I'll be there again on August 29th.
It's not small, but it's over quick. You'll be fine. Have fun!
I love that ride
Two and a half minutes dedicated to 90º DEGREES!!!! :D
I have trouble breathing on Roller coasters but i still love this roller coaster.
Woodies, but if you want to throw in steel, Superman ROS at Six Flag new England has some killer airtime.
I want a front row seat all the way and don't want to bother with the other silliness.
This was my first coaster ever I rode it the first year it was open. I want to go back but after going to cedar point 6 times I won't have the same fun on the ride I first did. Oh well that first hill is great though from what I remember.
i was on it yesterday
Dude, like 3 years ago I went on that ride, I almost cried, and didn't like it at all
This is my favorite wooden roller coaster and I have a season pass
It is a very fun ride
The best part when your not on it is when you are on the train going under the coaster. ITS SO LOUD.
This was my first roller coaster I've ever been on
My record is 19 times in a row on this ride it is awesome
When I was there last year, my cousin and I rode it 14 times, but that was throughout the day. Such a good coaster!
XD when I was riding it it was awsome I love it I rode it about..100 times..
All amusement parks like Kings Dominion( wich rocks) is gonna open april 2
cant wait
What was the angle of that turn? :D
I was thinking this the whole time
I ride this ride every summer, and someone told me it was 90 degrees
Hurz Murz I'm not too certain, but I believe it is...NINETY DEGREES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@Retailman100 oh wait i thought someone told me it was 89 degrees
Love that ride!
LOL, yeah Phoenix is probably the leader of airtime, with Shivering Timbers coming in 2nd or 3rd to Phoenix.
I love your videos... :D
God I miss this ride so much
they closed it?
or are you talking about the original?
No, I just moved so Now I don't go to the park anymore.
Random Stranger oh
love it im going there this next friday rode it 17 times last year
90 degrees!! wooo!!
I rode it it pushes u back in your seat and makes you feel like your gonna pop out of it
In terms of sheer airtime or best airtime. Also are we discussing just woodies or all coasters?
Sweet 90 degrees
me and my family still joke about "90 DEGREES!!!!"
There should be a video of all the TPR "90 DEGREES!!!"
i rode that 5 times yesterday...after the first hill it whips you around....my neck really hurts now :/ awesome park though
I love this coaster
I just went there yesterday.
One, two, three... NINETY DEGREES! :P
90 Degreeeeeeeeeee!!!!
im going Wednesday!!!!!! whoo hoo im exited!!!
So does this go 90 degrees or not? I cant tell. 😂
So one of the helex's is 90°?

That looks like a shit ton of airtime!
I went there 2 days ago when uou go through the blue part it goes ovef
Arrr 90 degrees, me matey, hahaaa
I wish I was tall enough when it was build. I was only 6 to 7 years old
How many degrees? :-D
HOW MANY DEGREES? 78 ?
Has been known as Bizarro for about 5 years or so now...
So. On a scale of 1 to Phoenix how's the airtime?
Frankenstein3r 9
I was there Wednesday fucking awesome
I just went their user refusal for my last day of school, I went faster or felt like
It says the the ravine flyer is 80 ft but it's 80ft but a 120ft drop cause waldameer is above sea level or lake level
It also said 57mph it's 60mph
What does that even mean?
Is this ride just like the silver Comit?
Brianna Durfey no
I lived near and ridden the silver comet many times. Not even close. Silver comet is a kiddie coaster compared to this intense beast.
So does Gravity Group do hybrids? Because this doesn't look 100% wood.
steel frame wooden track set up... it's a hybrid....
do they really need to shout. IT'S 90 DEGREES! all the time? lol
It cut my sentence off I said it goes over the road
90 DEGREES!!!! 2:26
90 DEGREES!!! Almost as funny as TWISTY!!!
90 DEGREES!!!!!!!!!!
90 DEGREES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's 120 feet
who else goes to shadeland lol?
its LOUD
Dude... They aren't even the same type of ride. Why would you even compare the two? And TTD does NOT have any "90 degree" turns...
So scary I don't want ride in roller coaster
LOL 2:43
don't ride front seat, PLEASE don't.
BACK seat is where it's at.
