I've been living/working together with my wife 24/7 for 15 years, no therapy or habitual changes would have helped our relationship more than fixing our hormones/health problems. I got a DNA test and turns our I had a rare genetic disorder that required regular supplementation and she got her hormone levels checked and she had excess testosterone that needed reducing. Ever since we got our health fixed we rarely argue about anything, even during covid-19 lockdown days we just loved each other more. Hope this advice will help you in your future relationships!
Hi Joose. I always enjoy your travels. Sorry for you and Grace. A breakup is never easy. The mental pain is awful from experience. Hopefully the good memories will overcome any sad memories. Glad to hear you are looking after your mental health and growing as a person. You have a good positive attitude and more self-awareness now. Peace, health, and prosperity now and in the future.
You seem like a good guy, a caring and sincere type..so great to see the modern age hasn't sucked the soul and humanity out of every single one of you at least🙏
Nah, I relate so much to your situation. I was travelling the world with my wife, we spend so much time together, live in the same apartment, have the same friends. As in your case, it was to much for her, so she decided to break up 5 month ago. Also I couldn't escape these thought that I could do things better. The pain in travelling without her was so huge at the beginning. But I learnt a lot and slowly started to move on. Now I'm in Tokyo, looking for the next places to move, so I found your channel. And holy shit, it is exactly what I needed. Hope you doing well now!
I feel you man! It's difficult for some time after being so used to having your person next to you all the time. It took me quite long to be able to enjoy being alone again but it's never the same, sharing these experiences with a loved one is the best thing ever. But one day we all will find someone who's right to do it with🙏🏽 And yeah it's definitely a challenge like you said, I've been thinking of this a lot lately that it would be the best to be with someone who has family and friends in the main base you have... I think it's a lot about not being right for each other in the end of the day if we just can't make it work and also the circumstances matter. I went through that many times that I felt I could have done things better and it would have worked. But it never did. I guess some relationships are meant to last, some are not. So it's good to take all the lessons and learnings but it's not good to be too hard on ourselves. It's good to hear you're starting to move on too, it will get better! Good to hear man, thanks so much🙏🏽
I never forget the line in Eat, Pray, Love when she says her friend is a therapist or something who deals with folks like refugees from war torn countries who have been thru truly horrible things and the things they talk about the most is the troubles with there love lifes. Yeah, break ups are some of the worst kinds of pain...but the thing to realize is they are a window to an open heart chakra...you have access to having your heart chakra open all the time and just because you broke up doesn't mean you have to stop loving the person, you just can't have any expectations on the person...yes, learn from the experience, and reboot and give yourself enough time. Appreciate this honest video...most all of us have been there.
Joose, I have enjoyed watching your videos since I found your channel. I enjoyed Bali when I traveled there in the late 80's and enjoy reliving those memories when I watch your videos and see what it's like now, 40 years later. Breakups are always rough and sad, but you have the right attitude and understanding and you will heal quickly. You are correct about the 24/7 relationship. It's too much time together. You actually packed several years of relationship into 1.5 years. Consider it a 'condensed' relationship and focus on the good times when you remember it. Once, when one of my friends broke up with his girlfriend we were all sitting around his room talking about it and his Mom came to door with a plate of cookies. She looked at us and said, "Why all the long faces, boys?" We said it was because of a broken relationship and how terrible it all was. She looked at us with a smile and said, "Well...the best thing for woman problems is another woman." We all looked at each other in complete surprise. Turns out she was 100% correct. It doesn't mean to just fill the emptiness with someone else. You do need time to process the relationship. Look at it as you are doing. A learning experience. It is teaching you about relationships. You'll be a better partner in the next one. Go about your life and do what you do. Then, one day, when the time is right and you least expect it, you will meet someone and all that pain and hurt will simply vanish. Vanish as if it was never there. Joy will be there in its place. - Warmest regards and looking forward to future videos.
Thanks so much🙏🏽 Reading this made me really happy and peacefull now. Very true. Things will always get better :) And I wonder how Bali was back then haha, probably very different.
@@JooseTheNomad Joose, I'm very pleased that it helped.Time is a great healer. Bali was less developed and much more rural way back then. Many, many rice fields and temples. I hope much of that is still there. It was less traffic and crowds, but it was definitely being developed even at that time. It was the most exotic place that I have ever visited. It still looks pretty exotic from your videos, just a bit more modernized and updated. I am from the USA and had a friend that had married a Balinesian and we were visiting them. We came to Bali after Island hopping in the Andaman sea and Gulf of Thailand. Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan. Haad Rin Beach on Koh Phangan was my favorite. A wild time there, haha. There was no road to Haad Rin Beach at that time. You had to take a long boat to get to the Peninsula. Then it was on to Bali, starting at Kuta beach where our friend was. Kuta was, (and probably still is), the Australian version of spring break in Fort Lauderdale in Florida.Total tourist trap. I recall going out to a club and the first thing I see upon entering the club, loud music blaring, disco lights flashing, was an Australian in shorts and a tank top standing on a table, a small beer in each hand, looking at me, lifting his beer and saying, "Aye mate." in a thick Australian accent. I rented a small jeep and and we went up and over the mountain to the other side, staying at some Japanese resort place at the top, visited the volcano, and then spent a couple nights in Ubud. Lots of culture. We saw costumed dancers, visited the monkey forest, and did all the usual tourist stuff. I did get Bali belly in Ubud, but I had some Cipro and Lomotil with me and got rid of it in less than a day. We stayed in a really nice place at the end of a road that they said had been a rice field the year before. We visited some of the close villages such as the one where everyone makes silver jewelry and the one where everyone makes carved painted wooden fish. Then we drove down to the other side and stayed at a lovely place right on the coast. Very inexpensive. We traveled through many towns and small villages on our journey. We visited the King's summer palace with the water garden and bathed in the public pools, all the statues spouting water. Gorgeous. There was an old Balinesian village we stopped at along the way where they showed how people lived in ancient times. I bought several wooden masks and carvings. The masks were beautiful, one piece painted carvings, compared to the cheap looking multi piece masks that were available at the tourist shops. I still have them. There was no internet yet so the only way to get information was to talk with people who were headed in the opposite direction. For example, when we were staying on the coast, some folks at the pool told us that when we got to Candidasa to go past the town to the third street (just a small sign) and then go to the end of the road and we would find a beautiful, inexpensive, clean hotel on the beach that was within walking distance to the town. Food was extremely inexpensive and delicious. Nasa Goreng for $.50 US and a huge half avocado stuffed with shrimp with Russian dressing for $1.50 US. In Candidasa I had lobster. Balinese lobsters are so beautiful and colorful I almost didn't eat it. But I did. lol. It was delicious. It was New Year and there was a huge parade where all the local villages brought their huge Papier Mâché monsters, each carried by a dozen people, down the Main Street to scare off the evil spirits for the New Year. I have lots of pictures from that trip. One night I was talking with some of the natives. Bagus mean 'the best', thumbs up. I told them that in the USA Bogus means terrible, thumbs down. They loved it. Everyone was laughing and saying "Bagus", with thumbs pointing up and then "Bogus" with thumbs pointing down. All in all, a most excellent time and adventure.
hi Joose, sending lots of hugs and strength! Thank you for sharing your feelings with us. With time I am sure you both will heal. It was a great idea to go home for a few months. I also highly recommend that in the future always keep "me-time" when you can recharge and get your energy back. Take care!
Hi Joose! I've watched your videos for a while now and it's really nice to get a little sneak peek of what's it like to be a digital nomad and life in the warmth of Bali in general👏🏻 Travelling, like many other things in life have their ups and downs, but I think think those things make life worth living for. All the best to you from another Finnish traveller💪🏻❤️
okay get back to work now. You inspiring people ! stay strong ! Your videos gave so much info and value and you are part of the reason why I am moving to Danang and becoming a Nomad.
Ohh we’ll definitely miss Grace! you two make a great couple. I really think finding that perfect balance between work and your relationship is very crucial. It’s not just about ‘me time’ but also cherishing ‘we time’. I’ve learned that time is the most precious thing in a relationship, having those moments to truly savor with your partner is priceless because sadly people often don’t realize what they had until it’s gone.. anyway goodluck with your new life. I see that you talk way slower now, nice progress man!
Follow your heart and see where it leads man, looks like you’re not ready to give up on your love. Relationships can be wild rides, trust in time, enjoy your moments of salitude, and who knows maybe you two will find way back together. Keep the faith alive!
Omg I am in tears. I’m so sorry joose, this video was made a while ago so I’m sure that you are feeling more healed now, but still my heart goes out to you ❤❤
Welcome back!!!! Soooo been missing your great videos. Sending you loads of Love & Light. Give your heart the time it needs to heal. Some days will be more difficult than others. And it's ok to feel the sadness & hurt as long as we don't wallow in it. You have a bright future & life ahead of you. Your viewers love you & support you on your journey. Sending much love to Grace aswell ❤❤❤
I'm a year late to this but I think this was very eye opening for the both of you. A lot of youtubers show the lovey dovey side of dating someone from Asia but it's really complicated when you two are from very different cultures. Relationships in general are already hard. Take that and times it by two for this type of situation. Hopefully you've healed by now and feel better!
Your still very young..enjoy your youth while you can..be smart with your decisions in life and love..you sound like a smart kid with lots of blessings around you..
Thank you for sharing your difficult to us , wanna send positive energy to you and I have just started watching your videos yes you did a great job!! Everything gonna be ok , I believe in your potential as you have :)
Your channel is very under appreciated, pleased to have you back good sir. Any recommendations of airbnbs, hotels, villas to stay in Bali (looking for chill and beauty, rather than party and mass people). Prepping to leave the UK for winter in a month time. Always stay in Thailand, SIngapore, philippines and Vietnam... maybe time for a change this year and try Bali
Thanks so much! I have a lot in my Bali guide but when it comes to the areas, my favorite for longer stay in Canggu are and there, Pererenan is the best, more quiet but close to cafes and everything. Other nice areas to stay longer are Uluwatu and Ubud :)
Shame about the relationship Joose! It definitely hurts when things end but we have to keep our head high and continue to move forward! I'm currently in a similar position with Bali. Everyone is in Australia and you just wish everyone would come here haha. Best of luck with everything :)
I'm really sorry to hear that man. Now that I've seen many of your videos and also today at the gym in da nang I mentioned that and I heard we have a mutual contact friend you met here while you we're last in Da Nang. I'm here now thanks to you and I truly love it so thank you! Also a question re girls / women. I'm, looking for a serious kind of relationship now with a girl in Asia and using a few of the dating sites. Tinder seems to be a waste of time for me. If you have any advice for us on dating or how we can meet someone like grace would be very appreciated! again sorry to here the news and I also use to live, work and vlog, create travel with my (true yet ironic) Finnish girlfriend. The relationship imploded for the same reasons you described. WE HAD NO SPACE. live and learn ::)
Hey Brother, I wish you good luck to overcome the difficult times. At the end all will be good after some time. But yeah, know exactly what you are talking about ….
I guess it highlights depends On the person you together with and yourself.I am doing everything together with my girl for last 10years,traveling,working together etc.First two were hardcore but we are pass that and now everything is so great i fee like living in a movie ;D wish u all the best and hope you heal quickly :)
Dont sweat it broter. Her loss. You seem like a stand up guy, good heart and you got that Ryan Gosling thing going on. Plenty of girls would be happly to be in a realtionship wth you.. youll be fine God Bless
Hey Joose! I follow your videos for a while as I'm moving to South East Asia in a month. Still deciding between Bali or Thailand. 🤦🏻♀As a fellow youtuber here, I know how hard it is to keep up with videos when not feeling great. Also, how difficult it can be to open up with your audience. Full support here!! 🙏🏼 It takes time to move on, unfortunately I know that from experience. 😅 But everything will be better slowly. ❤ Keep it up and looking forward to your next videos!
Thanks a lot Laura🙏🏽 I'd recommend starting in Bali as it's the best place to meet people living longer in SEA in my opinion but of course depends on person which one is better! Yeeah it will be good❤️ Thanks for your words!
@@JooseTheNomad Yeah that’s exactly what I’m thinking. I’ve been in Bali twice and the community there is insane. I’m travelling alone so I want to meet people who live there long term. i want to meet other creatives. Thank you so much for your advice! If I end up in Bali and we cross paths, I’ll make sure to say hi! 😄 ❤️
A lot of people can and do grow apart it happens. Did you not want to let her out of your sights because you were afraid of losing her? I know it sucks but move on and have faith that something better awaits you.
Man you are so young, just enjoy life, build your business, belive me you will have later in life a family, kids, and almost no free time to do things you love, this is your most beautiful period in life, don't cry about it, belive me I'm 37 married with kids, and this is 10X more difficult that being single and young traveling around the world
@@JooseTheNomad when it comes to food after commenting the message before that you had belly problems only in Bali? There is some fighting going on in your brain I see 🤣🤣
@@Frivals lol.. the food optoions are the best, the food tastes the best. But yes in Bali there is problems with getting food poisoning but during my years in Bali I've learned what to avoid to not get them anomore
I am actually sobbing in tears at 7:05 mark , so so cute of couple and I hear the pain in your voice 💔😢 you are in my prayers that you will continue a safe beautiful life of travels and meet the next person in the right time. Much love 💜
Bro you seem a decent guy. Didn't really see that coming. Will you share why it ended? You just don't seem the type of guy that most would want to spilt from.
Haha thanks bro! We had too many fights too often and both were so exhausted that living together just wasn't possible. Things got a bit ugly and I decided it's the only option for us to break up for the sake of both of ours mental health..
@@JooseTheNomad Bro Asian women are known for being extremely ruthless. They look very sweet and feminine but they can be fierce. I am in Da Nang now after your recommendation. I suggest trying a European girl next my man. They can be a bit more genuine and long lasting.
No offense but you both guys still very young especially her seemed to be very maybe even unmatured on videos?? And as we know what is in the front of camera and what is behind the scene is 2 diffrent things beacuse life is not instagram or videoblog. Based on my experience with my Thai lady the key is to find the compromise. btw we went thru a lot 🤯 ( mostly cultural differences) but somehow we survive. How ever i wish you all the best and keep your head up. Maybe some day 🍻 in Bangkok. Take care Joose
Hi Joose, me and my girlfriend appreciate your videos and have been in Asia the last two months, heading to Bali next weekend! What would be good as a fellow vegan and digital nomad is if you could find your top 5-10 spots for eating and working whenever you get to a new place. Being able to go off your recommendations for cafes, coworking spaces and restaurants when we arrive in a new destination would be very helpful. All the best!
I know it’s probably hard but what do you think you could have done better? She looked like you made her really happy and you two looked like the couple that’s meant to be.
So she was from Indonesia? As for your break up I made a similar mistake with my Pinay GF. Things were great for 4 years until she moved into my place in Europe to help run my airbnb business. Then covid lockdown happened and being together 24/7 was stressful - just not the correct amount of distance I guess. She started to become rude so I kicked her out and that was that. Oh well it lasted about 6 years in the end. I guess I need to find someone less childish who actually has her own money and doesn't need me to pay for everything.
You're a young guy but you'll learn (the hard way, like all of us). She's not yours, it's just your turn. Keep that in mind next time around. Never invest too much or think it's somehow permanent. Enjoy each day you're in it but know that the relationship is not permanent.
@@JooseTheNomad Women get bored very easily. Especially with a nice guy. I don't make the rules, I just observe and notice. You're a good looking guy, just move on and find another. Your obsession is just that: a mind game you are playing with yourself.
She just wanted the ride bro. common thats why she wasn't even really communicative in the videos like i felt at one point you jusg hired her as a travel model and guide but you good bro
Some girls are great for hot long weekend by the beach... not for true companionship. Also, quite different levels of cultural background and education. Remember the good times, and choose something with less stress and heartache and fighting attached next time. You're a totally cute and handsome nice guy (and I say that as a guy myself ha ha) and you will have no problem finding an amazing girl that's perhaps a bit easier and perhaps shares some intellect and a similar middle-class background with you, even if she's from SEA herself. Keep it going, you rock! 💪
I agree that Grace probably was not the right girl for him. If you have to make it work, your partner is probably not right for you. True love is effortless, like Ying and Yang
You need to post daily content bro. That is how I bought my 2 houses in cash in Australia and racked up over 400million views total. 2 months off....no can do! ::
basically he got dumped after she found a better guy in secret and had "had too much of Joose". You see these cases a lot especially when the guy is this broken about it. He was the loser. Asian women are great but they monkey branch to better situations real quick if your game is weak. Sorry bro.. at least you smashed that tight thing though.
Men….Here’s the deal! 💯 1. Develops a skill- set to earn six-figure or higher income 2. Become Visible and verifiable 3. Seek out mentors and find a network of like-minded high-value men 4. Physical optimization and self defense skills!
This is the problem of showing off your girlfriend in every single video. I know you make sure you include her in skimpy/revealing clothes for the content/views. It's obvious, and now you share your personal drama for views because everyone is interested in that girl for reasons you know already. These videos are everywhere. I'm sorry for being negative. You seem like a nice guy. I will subscribe and enjoy your videos. I am just pointing out that you should avoid this type of UA-cam channel. Good luck mate.
No way. Never ever go back. You can enjoy alone time for a couple years then enjoy a new beauty. I always made my gf meditate with me for 1hour -2hours before bed to keep our mouths shut from habitual chitter-chatter. Silence together in mornings too.
Just because it's hurts doesn't mean she The right person. The pain it self is something we need to get over not the sign she's the right person after all

Appreciate the honestly man - it’ll only get better from here!
Thanks man🙏🏽
Been there my friend. You're a good guy. Stay that way. ✌️
Thanks a lot man🙏🏽
Ohh we’ll definitely miss Grace! you two make a great couple.
Yea man so true.. wise words🙏🏽 thank you man!
Follow your heart and see where it leads man, looks like you’re not ready to give up on your love. Relationships can be wild rides, trust in time, enjoy your moments of salitude, and who knows maybe you two will find way back together. Keep the faith alive!

Welcome back. Always enjoyed your content, keep it coming.

Thanks so much for you kind words❤️
I'm a year late to this but I think this was very eye opening for the both of you. A lot of youtubers show the lovey dovey side of dating someone from Asia but it's really complicated when you two are from very different cultures. Relationships in general are already hard. Take that and times it by two for this type of situation. Hopefully you've healed by now and feel better!
Your still very young..enjoy your youth while you can..be smart with your decisions in life and love..you sound like a smart kid with lots of blessings around you..
Yeaa.. thanks so much🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing your difficult to us , wanna send positive energy to you and I have just started watching your videos yes you did a great job!!

Yes definitely, thanks bro🙏🏽
enjoying your videos! every relationship is a learning experience and glad to see you are taking positives from it. hope you feel better soon :)
Thanks so much😊🙏🏽
Your channel is very under appreciated, pleased to have you back good sir.
Thanks so much🙏🏽 Yees always a struggle hahaha, but for you it's nice that flight between the two is just few hours so it's easier to visit!
thank you for sharing this... was she from Bali? i suppose its rare there that people can speak good english... may I ask how you met?
This is what I was curious about too.
@JooseTheNomad whats the accomodation called in Pererenan? Looks great!
Joose where was the gym you were at in Canggu, beside the rice paddies? Seems like a place I'd workout in
It's Obsidian :)
@@JooseTheNomad Cheers mate, might see you there

Kiitos!

Thanks guys! I have a Bali guide that includes all my saved places in Bali :) maybe that would be helpful?
I know it’s probably hard but what do you think you could have done better? She looked like you made her really happy and you two looked like the couple that’s meant to be.
Relationships are complicated sometimes..
Come to KL and chill be merry
I'm actually coming in few months!
Everything happens for a reason.
Yes🙏🏽✨
You're a young guy but you'll learn (the hard way, like all of us). She's not yours, it's just your turn. Keep that in mind next time around. Never invest too much or think it's somehow permanent. Enjoy each day you're in it but know that the relationship is not permanent.
@@louisbee7923 why a relationship couldn't be permanent?😅
@@JooseTheNomad Women get bored very easily. Especially with a nice guy. I don't make the rules, I just observe and notice. You're a good looking guy, just move on and find another. Your obsession is just that: a mind game you are playing with yourself.

It shouldn't be a problem finding another girlfriend in Asia
Too bad to hear.
That girl was an absolute smoke show
Hahah thanks🙏🏽
True love is effortless, like Ying and Yang
what was the night club ? atlas ?
be careful with girls in Bali , most of the girls are not as nice as your ex
Vault :) thanks!
sounds like her loss not yours.
You need to post daily content bro. That is how I bought my 2 houses in cash in Australia and racked up over 400million views total. 2 months off....no can do! ::
You should move in love in Vietnam: Đa Nang , Nha Trang ...is much better choice than Bali ...beautiful beach , clean city , super cheap living food
Just check out my channel😄
basically he got dumped after she found a better guy in secret and had "had too much of Joose". You see these cases a lot especially when the guy is this broken about it. He was the loser. Asian women are great but they monkey branch to better situations real quick if your game is weak. Sorry bro.. at least you smashed that tight thing though.
That's so far from the truth lol🙈
This is usually the truth, but maybe not for you since you initiated the break-up
