Great and interesting video. I do love your dog. To retain the heat in your tent you should have sealed the tent floor perimeter with snow, thus stopping the wind from entering your tent. Keep up the good work. God bless.
@@markemerson8399 A dog can start developing frostbite in as little as 30 minutes . So hell yes he's little feet should be pampered with snow shoes same as he's wearing a vest to protect his body.
You should prep your meals at home. Like precut your vegetables, slice and season your meats for example and place them in zip lock bags. You can then use the dirty zip lock bags for your trash when you are done eating. It would save you time, clean up and trash. You also would have less things to clean and pack lighter on your outing and when you get home. You would also get to enjoy your outing more and little less to do when you get home.
Wow! Looking at your footage reminds me of the hellish winter blizzard we just had in December in Buffalo NY! Over a dozen people froze to death! I was blessed someone very special, who I didn't know, came and rescued me. All the utilities were off in my apartment complex! Wow! I'll never forget it
It's so cute, while Jeremy is setting up camp, Boomer is running around entertaining us. So much that when everything is set up he takes a nap in the sleeping bag. Lol so cute 😍

Fascinating. It was hard for me to imagine how anyone would camp in a snow storm, but then the reward of this for you in the morning is clear. Absolutely stunning scenery. You are truly amazing. I would never have the guts to do this, but being able to view this through your videos is wonderful.
Aweee Boomer is too cute! Also, my dad taught me this, he packs snow around the bottom of his tent or tarps, and it helps it keep from flying around and keeps some of the heat in!

The best thing for me in this video is to see your dog having such a good time and smiling as he / she is running around I never go anywhere without my dog, no parties meals , shopping etc. I’m so glad you have taken your dog as a member of your family ❤
That was some snowstorm! I was shivering right along with you. And the inside temp here was 68 ˚F. Boomer was definitely enjoying the snow. He's never seen a stick he didn't like. At least the storm passed which made packing up a lot easier than what you went through setting up. As always, the drone shots were incredible. Stay warm and safe travels!
If you tie that bottom tarp down right it would make a world of difference as soon as you set it up, you're letting the winter wind blow right in on you, no wonder the dog headed upstairs , I would have too !

Now I want to go winter camping. Hiked today in the snow with my 15 month old Aussie pup Kenna and it was so fun! I’m going every couple days just up the freeway from me. I live in God’s country. I’m a prepper so watching videos like yours are immensely awesome!
Yeah, especially a little pup. 5 years ago our American Bullweiler and Pitbull came back to the house completely covered in blood and bites, my husband walked up behind our house into the woods and followed the blood trail and found 6 dead coyotes. I'm surprised they didn't get overrun since it was 2 VS 6, but they killed them all
this was a sick video! i can't believe you got a drone in the air with that wind! excellent work. If you do more snow camping, bring a collapsible shovel with you to pile up snow around the base of your tent. You lost all of your insulation on that lower level from that gap, and that wind was ruthless. Outstanding video, great job!

Ive a winnerwell nomad m size with the silicon jack for the wall in the annex corner. Works incredible and heats immediately. Also the insulation for these tents works great as well. Highly recommend installing one of your hot tent stoves. The heat travels upwards nicely guided into the sleeping area.

i watch a lot of these camping videos, and while i absolutely love them all for their different styles, this has got to be one of the coolest setups ive ever seen! ive never seen a tent set up like that and its blowing my mind
surely you enjoy your setup but one thing to consider is always bringing goretex layers to put over your warm layers, also bringing wood logs or just an E-tool or fold out shovel to build up a perimeter at the edge of your tent to block out airflow. loved the video just some friendly tips. keeping your warm layers dry always helps, no matter if they are thermals, silk top/bottoms, or what have you. Your survivability will increase tenfold.

What an amazing place to camp, beautiful. Love your little dog and he's all wrapped up in his coat . I was just a bit worried about his feet, I don't know if you had a place for him off the snow, out of sight , but it would be a good idea if you haven't. Its surprising how resilient dog's feet are to cold. Think wolves in winter or gun dogs and sheep dogs in adverse conditions. Hot surfaces are much more of a problem. Good to see him in a jacket and snug in the sleeping bag though. He looked as happy as its possible for a dog to be.

Have you thought I’ve clearing some of the snow around where the base of your tent/entrance is? Then once set up take the snow and build it up around the edges to prevent wind from blowing under/through? Would really help insulate that part as well so when your cooking that heat stays trapped, just a thought considering my assumption is you would want to be efficient with your heat since fuel would be limited.

If you do more snow camping, bring a collapsible shovel with you to pile up snow around the base of your tent. You lost all of your insulation on that lower level from that gap, and that wind was ruthless.

Gonna have to say that you putting on Boomer’s coat for him to go out was absolutely adorable! And loved what he slept in…you made sure he was well taken care of! Ive a winnerwell nomad m size with the silicon jack for the wall in the annex corner. Works incredible and heats immediately. Also the insulation for these tents works great as well. Highly recommend installing one of your hot tent stoves. The heat travels upwards nicely guided into the sleeping area.

AND, we need a cot for Boomer to get off the cold snow, since he can’t go up the ladder into warm cozy sleeping bags. Dog-cot.

i watch a lot of these camping videos, and while i absolutely love them all for their different styles, this has got to be one of the coolest setups ive ever seen! ive never seen a tent set up like that and its blowing my mind
Boomer happy with snow, so cute always, makes me smile seeing him run around
surely you enjoy your setup but one thing to consider is always bringing goretex layers to put over your warm layers, also bringing wood logs or just an E-tool or fold out shovel to build up a perimeter at the edge of your tent to block out airflow. loved the video just some friendly tips. keeping your warm layers dry always helps, no matter if they are thermals, silk top/bottoms, or what have you. Your survivability will increase tenfold.

I know this video is 6 months old but it just got suggested to me. Shoveling some snow around the edges of your bottom tent would make that so much more enjoyable and stop the airflow.

What an amazing place to camp, beautiful. Love your little dog and he's all wrapped up in his coat . I was just a bit worried about his feet, I don't know if you had a place for him off the snow, out of sight , but it would be a good idea if you haven't. Its surprising how resilient dog's feet are to cold. Think wolves in winter or gun dogs and sheep dogs in adverse conditions. Hot surfaces are much more of a problem. Good to see him in a jacket and snug in the sleeping bag though. He looked as happy as its possible for a dog to be.

Have you thought I’ve clearing some of the snow around where the base of your tent/entrance is? Then once set up take the snow and build it up around the edges to prevent wind from blowing under/through? Would really help insulate that part as well so when your cooking that heat stays trapped, just a thought considering my assumption is you would want to be efficient with your heat since fuel would be limited.
Thinking same thing. Now that would have worked well. Especially watching all the cold wind coming underneath. Boomer was running around trying to tell him.
