One time in the 1980s I parked and when I got back my car was gone. What happened was the Firestone store sent a tow truck to pick up a car and he grabbed the first one he saw of the same make, which was mine. He gets to the store and they say you idiot see if you can put in back in the same spot. So he drives up as I am looking for my car. The driver told me a tow truck allows you to take any vehicle. Kill switches won't offer any protection.

Question for Mr. GX*BOB: How can I raise and lower the windows in our 2013 GX without starting the vehicle? Most vehicles let you do that in accessory mode.
i watched the video again and i would have to disagree with you. When you have trained reflex, it wouldn't matter where your finger is at. But if a white windowless van pulls up with 4 masked Pakistani men running towards you, you'd be dead by the time your finger finds its way passed the trigger guard. Train your mind, not your finger.
Bob, those switches have removable fronts, so you can easily switch it with something that actually comes with the car, for ex. RSCA Off button, which is installed in the blank you have removed.
Next question: If we are concerned about theft but don't want to do any real work, wouldn't disabling the proximity unlocking feature be protective while not as good as a kill switch? Is it possible to change a setting that requires you press the key fob button to unlock, like older vehicles?
Not sure how that would be any better whether you use your keyfob or have the prox sensor open your driver door. Same thing. You still have to pay attention to your surroundings regardless. Unless you're talking about the prox sensor opening up all 4 doors then yes there is a setting to shut that off. I have a video on that in my youtube library.
With fentanyl & meth being so prevalent across the U.S. or just the level of psychosis in American culture right now, I seriously wouldn't be putting family in harm's way by daring someone to rob you. That is literally asking for trouble & a possible life-changing event. But to each their own. 🙄

Bob, I believe someone makes blank switches like the one you used. That might be a little bit more inconspicuous than a horn button down there✌🏻

Nothing offers 100% protection because every instance is unique. But you can always slow down certain thieves with certain deterrents.

Make a fourth one also, but that sets your third one on only if it is off! So the sequence will be 0111 for your vehicle to turn on..
i do have a 4th one. I just didn't want to admit it on national TV.
