I don’t think it’s yearly, but you can check NARCOAs website to search for upcoming planned events. These speeders are privately owned and operated under the rules and authority of NARCOA national rail car operators association.
Lol!! Actually it is still coming…but soon! I’ve got an entire southern Oregon Northern California thing on the way; including part two. Thanks for the interest!
This one like many smaller ones, have handles that pull out on the end. The crew turns it by lifting, at a location like a crossing. Others have a turntable that lowers from the bottom and lifts it in the air making the turning process very simple.
Thank you very much for showing me what it would be like if somehow I was able to fulfill this item on my bucket list!😁👍
How cool your group allowed travel on a working railroad.
Another great video! Yeah, Lakeview was a wild, hoppin' place when I was a kid in Klamath Falls. I love eastern Oregon!
Outstanding... Thanks for sharing.
Just got done watching another video on this line a few days ago. Cool to see it from a speeder perspective.

I'm surprised you didn't get a shot of Shasta.
Is this something they do yearly up by Goose Lake? How much is it for the public to join?
