I love this. Grew up in a family of railroaders here in Maryland. My dad was an engineer on the Western Maryland Railway. We were great model railroad enthusiasts but I felt a little melancholy watching this because I think he would love this and may have even volunteered at some point. What joy for me from watching this. Thank you.
Sadly the Western Maryland has long been merged into CSX along with the B&O and several other smaller RR. If you come East, look me up!@@7ideaproductions
Very nice! My daddy built a 3,5" live steam loco from the Netherlands Railways. He sadly passed away 10 years ago but is was always fun firing and driving his steam loco.
Been through Chiloquin Oregon at least 60 times when I traveled from Alfalfa/Bend Oregon to Ashland Oregon to visit my mom and brother. I have seen the signs but never knew how great this place would be to visit. Now at 74 living many miles North in McMinnville Oregon I cannot stand for more than five minutes due to a nerve condition and three doctors say they have no idea what it is Long distance travel is painful. So sad..
I worked as joung boy on the BAVARIAN S3/6 Steam lok called the nice bavarian number BR18 in green! Have seen you have a typical "PAZIVIC TOO. LOOK TO THE BAVARIAN S3/6 please
@@7ideaproductions I've got the other 2 episodes saved and am looking forward to watching them . I was an early adopter of HD so I hear ya . My original channel started in 2006 when very few videos were even in HD and YT was just a place to store massive amounts of data for free . LoL The quality of this was very good so I hope you didn't take my comment to mean otherwise . I was trying to find a way to say this particular hobby has an aging demographic and could be at its peak , so it's nice to document it for future gens . All the Best .
Technically speaking, both vertical boiler locos are 0-4-4-0s and not 0-8-0s, due to there being two 4-wheeled bogies and not one 8-wheeled one. (19:30)
Be cool to see some painted portrait cars. Meaning you ever seen a train painting stop by bison's? It will be cool to see that kind of stuff on trains/cars,you also can do fallen hero's.
Hallo.... Mr. America ...Sy Iwan mau tanya Berapa lebar rel kereta di tempat atau di jalur rel yg ada gunakan.. .please How much wide your track the train
Currently, only propane is allowed. Oil burners aren't even allowed. This was filmed before the restrictions. As i understand it, there is currently a push to allow oil fired locomotives again.

Great job and thank you for sharing. A great video the narration and quality of video is Penetrex quality.
I love the little boxcab at the end, the horn is as long as the whole engine!!
And it is LOUD!
Excellent footage and detail . Thanks ,
Stuff like this needs to be better documented in Digital HD so it can be remembered forever .
Thank you! I agree about the quality. It was produced back in the days of interlaced1080i HDV, a format I could not wait to get away from.

I hope to take at least one of my locos there some day, despite the fact it is at least a 4 day drive.

Any idea on when the 2022 will be out?
My guess is 2032 based on when this video was released and when the 2012 triennial was lol
It is in post production now. Shooting for sometime in September.
