- It’s only taken us almost 2 years but we finally got there.
We finished our decking surround for our pool a while ago and have finally completed the video. The majority of the wood we used was reclaimed pallet wood, the decking part was from B&Q and the shade of paint is Cuprinol city stone. - Розваги
Us grownups know he did it for the kids. Dad is a Hero!
Love it! Wish I had this set up, great job.
Looks really nice!
This looks awesome, ignore everyone else. Also, don't know why would you would need planning permission for this, its just a wooden structure and makes the pool look nice. I would differently do something like this. Awesome build 👌👍
Amazing! So beautiful. Great job. I bet it was nice to have help sometimes.
Thank you, we’ve certainly been making use of it this week in the UK
Impressive !
Good job
Phenomenal😮
Railing if one slips especially the steps that could very serious and ruin all enjoyment could ever come from the beautiful pool. Food for thought great job ty
Get a grip
❤trop cool ❤
Have fun disassembling the thing when you need to do pool maintenance
We’ve had it up for 4 years so far and we’ve had no issues yet
Hi. Did this cost approximately? Thinking of building one in the garage for training purposes
Brilliant, looks well nice.
Bravi!
Looks good. Can I ask.. What happens if you need to get to the sides or carry out maintenance or even replace the pool??
Thanks
a disaster ahhahah
Nicee
Hola me podrías pasar la lista de materiales y cual serian las medidas de la pile. Gracias
Do you need a permits to do it?
How big is the pool?
13ft x 6ft
Weres pt 1,bout how much lumber in $$ did you spend?
ua-cam.com/video/3hJ0ZNys9UE/v-deo.html
How much all the Pieces? And how time ? Thanks
Unfortunately we don’t know the true cost of it because we recycled a lot of the wood but it took a good few weeks to complete it as we did it as and when we had spare time
i must be an idiot to ask this but surely you leave it as it is during winter as well? how do you access sides if any repairs etc? do all the panels come off easily?
Hi, we do leave it up in the winter. We usually open it around May unless it’s warmer before then, we shock it and hoover it out and then it’s good to go.
We have slight access to the left side of the pool where the pump is but that’s it 😊
@@awebblifefamily oh brilliant i suppose i need to take the plunge then! i'm looking at the 24ft one but confused whether to go for the sand or salt water system are you able to comment on this please? did you install any heating products and if so would you recommend any - the same for the skimmer. Thanks
We use a sand filter so don’t have any experience with a salt system, sorry I wish we could help more!
I would definitely recommend getting a skimmer and heating system for that size pool, we only have a geobubble cover which heats our pool to around 26° during the British summertime, last year during the heatwave it reached 31°
@@awebblifefamily thanks will look for it, mine will be arriving in few days - all excited ...hope the mouse/ rats doesnt eat the liner etc lol ... will be putting a foam underneath too as per many other good practice videos.
Good luck 😊
is there a guide for this?
Sorry there isn’t, we only filmed our progress
❤ May I know the size of pool?
Hi, it’s 13ft x 6ft 😊
What size is it?
13ft x 6ft
Is it warmer??
We have a geo bubble cover but no heater
Did you notice covering up the sides if it held heat better or the same?
This is really cool. You must have cool neighbours though as this would surely require planning permission being a raised deck. I would love to do this but I think the neighbours would report it 😒
Where exactly do you live California? It has to be a strict liberal state if they make you ask permission to build a higher level deck.
@@shaneb.3982Uk, same as this video 👍
I think giving them gifts befor built it going to fix the things
how do children get out of the pool?
We have older children who can just jump onto the side or we can use the steps that came with the pool and just put them in
Why not insulate it ?
It’s not something we’d thought of until after but with a bubble cover it usually sits at around 26° which is fine for us, with the heatwave today in the UK it’s been at 32°☀️
Better off digging you would not pass planning for this
Are you the type of guy to ask government permission to improve your own house? ;)
the question is : WHY?
Why not?
Amazing, this looks awesome!!
How big is the pool?
13ft x 6ft
@@awebblifefamily how deep?
@@Huberto007 it’s 1.22m deep
@@awebblifefamily thank you 😉
