same thing happened on my H2 SX in a parking lot. Side stand wasn't All the way down, and when leaned over it cause the bike to roll forward a bit and tip.
when i was doing my mod1 training one of the guys told us he's never dropped a bike, and within 10 mins he was on the deck while doing his figure of 8 - aint karma a bitch, but none of us laughed, i don't know any cyclist or motorbiker who enjoys seeing another come off.
last week i made a stupid mistake & slow-mo dropped my new hornet as well doing a u-turn when i forgot to drop into first and stalled it at a virtual standstill, what a nob lol, it bent the brake lever and scratched my engine guard, nothing major, no other scratches, and i fixed both good as new, so I'll take it as a lesson, and admit it to you as penance !!
I was riding my first bike for 1 month without falling and thinking - one day people will remember me as the one who has never dropped the bike until this monday entering a mall parking kkk
It just happened to me also. I feel like i let her down. I feel that i disappointed her. I did all i could to hold and protect her but i failed. Now she has 1 milimiter almost unoticeable scratch on the tank, a little bit of scratch on the brake and some bigger but inexxpressive on the muffler. But i feel that i failed her. 300km into her life. Turning right on my street that is steep, i pressed the front brakes. She dived her head and jumped onto the asfalt.... i tried to hold her as much as i could and aliviate her fall. I think i succedded but i dived on my shoulders at the end and bore the larger portion of the impact. Ill do my best to not let thing like this to happen again.
Happens to everyone! Good on you lad for getting it right back up without a panic.

I dropped mine new hornet after 3 weeks I had it, only few very little scratches, so dont worry it happens
Done the same thing with my hornet the other day, I know how you feel😅
lol that happens to my hornet my side stand popped back up cost me a new clutch lever
Nothing to be bothered about, there's those that have dropped their bike, and those that will in future, it's how we learn.

It has happened to everyone. Just chill out.
Considering it was my first drop, and it was a brand new bike, I was pretty chill...
