Great hearing that Sal and thanks so much for all the support. And yes I always enjoy showing off all the hard work at the end in a fun way and that song is a perfect way to end each video I think.
I’m in the process today of doing this exact process! Love your detailed explanation of this task. Helped me a lot! Thank you 😊 Am new subscriber. Cheers! 🎉
That came out incredible! I’m about to redo my carpeted stairs, hoping that I can find the matching vinyl stair caps. Awesome job! I always learn from your videos!
Really love the perfect fit of each piece of risers and treads! but do you not need to leave some gaps at the edges for the expansion of the timber, just like those timber (including engineered or laminated) floor systems?
Really great stuff, as usual! Makes me want to get into house renovation! Random question: is anyone one in you family from South Africa? I was just curious as to why you have Mariam Makeba as your song choice?
Thanks so much for the kind works John and nope. I actually stumbled across this song a while ago and loved it. never knew how famous it was to South African's until I noticed it in the comment section. I love the song and it won't be changing anytime soon :)

Thank you for the great video, great tutorial. FYI, I clicked on the link for floor direct warehouse but there is no riser and nosing listed. I wonder if you could point me in another direction,it doesn’t look like they have them anymore.
Beautiful Worck beautiful explanation but lotta extra steps that can be avoided but anyway, I follow the link. Look like after sponsoring you the out of treads 😂
Great video instruction, this is exactly what I need to have done with my staircase. The stairs looked very professionally done so did the video. And did I say very handsome too. I meant you not the stairs :)
This looks amazing. We want to do the same thing for our stairs. But when we tried your link for flooring direct warehouse nothing comes up. Even searching the site using stair, tread, and other words didn't bring anything up. Please help. Thanks. And wow the change is incredible.
I think one question is not covered in floor glue down and stairs installation videos: how do you transition from hardwood floor to a very top stair nose? Did you use tongue and grove to connect flooring to stair nose?
Great job as always! Would you recommend anything different for angled/pie-shaped stairs with a railing on one side? Or is it pretty much the same procedure, just with more angles?
You made that look easy, but know how labor intensive it really was. Great transformation, Brent!
Plenty of work but it sure did pay off right?! haha. Thanks so much for the continued support :)
Looks pro. And does anyone else get excited when he’s getting close to finishing the job? The song gives me smile vibes

I Appreciate the time and effort sir, love the vids!
Thanks for noticing DDD. A lot of effort goes into each one and this one certainly was well worth the effort I'd say haha.

That squared nose is a nice change from the ubiquitous round nose step.

Beautiful
Thanks so much for watching and the continued support as always :)
I love your videos. So inspiring to get out there and just do it. Could I ask if you could link the dust shroud and blade you used for grinder?
Thanks so much for the kind words and the reminder. I just added all of the grinder links. Let me know if you need any other ones :)
Looks great!

Nice work! I hope they’re replacing the upstairs carpet next 😅

Great video, but the nosing isn't listed on the website.
Great work! Where did you learn all of that? :)
UA-cam...... haha! I did work with a flooring subcontractor years ago so I learned a few things there but UA-cam is always an amazing resource :)
@@BYOTools haha nice, indeed I agree. :)
Another DIY fan of UA-cam. I have learned so much here!

Do you have a tread with a quarter round edge for the first tread
Nice work! Try to remove your gloves before feeding boards through the table saw, if the glove catches the blade it will suck your hand in
Brilliant 👍🇨🇾
how long did it take you to complete this job
Can you use ordinary wood flooring?
White risers would’ve made a nicer contrast nice work tho
What was the cause?
Height is pronounced with a hard t….not a th….really enjoy your videos
👍
Please cover the story of Jawaher Hajji #JusticeForJawaher
SO who was drunk? The stair guy, of the wall guy?
Those gaps are so big at the side of the steps.
What will you do the day your house is completely made?? :D lifetime crisis
first!
Well done Omar. How did you like the video?
:)
Thanks for watching.
