I was watching this video and i showed this to my grandfather as he lived in lahore before partition and suddenly he claimed that he has seen this place Then i showed the whole video and suprising he said that this house was ours and my grandfather was litrally crying.🥺 And i watched that house 15 -16 times and i was shocked to see that this is our house. My grand father used to say that he left this place at the age of 17 because of partion and my grand father lost his grandfather yess my grandfather's grandfather and he shifted in amritsar with his family means my father and all. And now we are living in Amritsar. really It is a great experience. To see my actual house and it is so big and beautiful, proud of my ancestors. Bhai thnxxx a lot. It really mean to me and my father and specially my grandfather he still remembers his house and people of now called pakistan. Great respect for 💯 you. Never thought this could also happen ever in my life.......🥺👍✨

बहुत बहतरीन बहुत सुन्दर बहुत अच्छा बहुत खूब बधाई, हमारा परिवार भी बटवारे से पहले लाहोर में कहीं रह्ता था, वहीं मेरे परिवार के लोग आर्मी में थे बटवारे के बाद हमारे दादाजी ने भारत आना पसंद किया मगर उनके एक भाई ने लाहोर नहीं छोड़ा, वो भी आर्मी में हीं थे, कुछ दशकों बाद उनसे हमारे परिवार का सम्पर्क छूट गया, खैर अब उम्र के हिसाब से नहीं रहें होंगे, मगर उनका परिवार तो जरूर होगा जिसका हमें कोई अता पता नहीं है, उनका नाम सोहन सिंह लोहोट था जो ब्रिटिश आर्मी में कर्नल थे, अगर किसी को पाकिस्तान में कोई भी लोहोट सरनेम का हो तो हम से राफता अखतियार मतलब समपर्क करे ।
लोहोट जो पीछे रह गए, उनको तो मुसलमान बना दिया होगा। अब उनका पोता पाकिस्तान आर्मी में Colonel होगा जिसका नाम कोई औरंगजेब ही होगा, को हिंदुओं को गाली दे रहा होगा। कश्मीर में जिहाद कर रहा होगा, भारत की बरबादी के सपने देख रहा होगा। मिल जाए तो घर वापसी कर के दिखा देना। एक बार इस्लाम के कीड़े ने जिसको काटा, वो वायरस फैलता गया।

I AM grateful to See these houses belong to khattries before partition. My father lived in Peshawer and some time in Lahore during his childhood and in young age. But could not See lateron again. He explained much about those places. He now died in India after completing 98 years of age. I have full of tears to See the conditions of these houses, surely it belongs to our fore father's. It have been my long wish to See sometimes but could not see. Ofcourse I passed through near while going Moscow in 2019.

People will not believe but last night I have seen lahore streets in my dream. May be in my past life I was living there. I have never think about Lahore ever or ever wanted to visit it. Then I search for the videos and watching this. Watching this video made me so connected and emotional. Feeling some vibrations. Some lost past connection I can feel.
I spent 16 yrs of my early life in Lahore's Sootar Mandi area. It was touching to see the dilapidated buildings in the bazaars which I still visit in my dreams. How I wish I could visit the koochas and the bzaars where I spent my childhood.
Where, you have settled these days? If possible I am interested to hear your passed experience of Lahore. My father lived in Peshawer, Swat, now he is no more after passing about 98 years of age. He was a Doctor.

He was a Lahore High court lawyer and was associated with the panel of Lawers who fought the case against ban on Satyaarth Prakash ,a holi bookof hindu Aryasamaj. He was also president of management Committee of Anaarkali Arya samaj Mandir.
It's said that 85% property and 80% business was in the hands of Hindus and Sikhs before partitions. Similar positions were of other big cities at that time specially Layalpur sialkot and Multan
My grandfather had a huge kothi on the crossing of Anarkali and Lake Road. He rented out the building and moved to Model Town. Your family must have had an acquaintance with my family.
मेरे दादाजी भी लाहौर के थे और मेरे पापा जब 1947 में 14 साल के थे और वहां से नवमी पता नहीं दसवीं करके आए थे लेकिन वहां की सब बातें बताते रहते थे वह वहां के शाही मोहल्ले में रहते थे और कुछ और भी बताते थे बहुत कुछ कहते थे बहुत अच्छा था लाहौर में और जीस कॉलेज में पढ़ते थे वह उनकी उर्दू भी बहुत अच्छी थी पंजाबी भी अच्छी थी इंग्लिश भी अच्छी थी मेरा बड़ालेकिन मुझे लगता है कि मेरा कोई ना कोई कनेक्शन लाहौर से है और मुझे दिखता भी है वैसे की मैं एक जन्म में तो मुस्लिम थीऔर मुझे अल्लाह अल्लाह कहना बहुत अच्छा लगता है जान सुना भी अच्छा लगता हैरेनू राजपूत यादव

My great great grandmother sudama kanwar was from Lahore she was the daughter of Seth jhundas ji sahi and granddaughter of seth Sundar das ji sahi , she was married to my great great grandfather srimant badrinarayan ji deo of rajpur in 1909 unfortunately she faced alot of attoricities in her life botht here and from Lahore too her family tried to escaped after lahori riots but there was only a last message from a horseman that there house is burned and looted but they are safe and coming to india but after that we never got any trace of her family......there are only few photos some jewelleries and some stories left behind ......she later died in 1963 but after seeing this video I feel very sad about her....!

I AM grateful to See these houses belong to khattries before partition. My father lived in Peshawer and some time in Lahore during his childhood and in young age. But could not See lateron again.
He explained much about those places. He now died in India after completing 98 years of age. I have full of tears to See the conditions of these houses, surely it belongs to our fore father's.
It have been my long wish to See sometimes but could not see. Ofcourse I passed through near while going Moscow in 2019.

People will not believe but last night I have seen lahore streets in my dream. May be in my past life I was living there. I have never think about Lahore ever or ever wanted to visit it. Then I search for the videos and watching this. Watching this video made me so connected and emotional. Feeling some vibrations. Some lost past connection I can feel.
I spent 16 yrs of my early life in Lahore's Sootar Mandi area. It was touching to see the dilapidated buildings in the bazaars which I still visit in my dreams. How I wish I could visit the koochas and the bzaars where I spent my childhood.

He was a Lahore High court lawyer and was associated with the panel of Lawers who fought the case against ban on Satyaarth Prakash ,a holi bookof hindu Aryasamaj. My great great grandmother sudama kanwar was from Lahore she was the daughter of Seth jhundas ji sahi and granddaughter of seth Sundar das ji sahi , she was married to my great great grandfather srimant badrinarayan ji deo of rajpur in 1909 unfortunately she faced alot of attoricities in her life botht here and from Lahore too her family tried to escaped after lahori riots but there was only a last message from a horseman that there house is burned and looted but they are safe and coming to india but after that we never got any trace of her family......there are only few photos some jewelleries and some stories left behind ......she later died in 1963 but after seeing this video I feel very sad about her....!

Beautiful blog showing reminiscents of old Lahore houses and havelis. Lahore was richest business city in North Bharath, so were its residents. Given the chance of unification, many migrated and other Hindu Punjabis will like to go back and make it a prosperous and rich city again. It will also become a good tourism place.
