Thank you Media Top for the presentation of the Multan Railway Station though in ruins now, but a great historical memory, only 78 years old. My wife was born in Karrorepacca Lyallpur Multan was only one year old when the unfortunate division happened.Her family ended up as a refugee in Ferozepur in Punjab on the other side of the border. She told me the horror stories of her Family, they went through to escape to India. They were lucky they made it many millions did not. It is nice that the station has not been destroyed & one can recollect the memories of the past when Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims,... travelled together without fear & mistrust of each other. One day it will become another Mohiin Jadarro Harappa. Thank you very much for preserving the memories that Hindu, Sikhs, Muslims,.. lived together for centuries but somebody did not like it & broke them into pieces & are having wars for ever. Good Luck

My dada abu left 1400 qilay zameen at india and travelled towards vehari, multan district and got only 10 qilay in return led a life simple but yet in royal way my father was a self made businessman and I'm working hard for it now again

Thank you very much for the exposition of the result of the wrong decision of division of India in 1947. Think of the millions who got massacred & Illinois who became refugees. Did the leaders of that time care about it? I am a refugee from Lahore we went to Jammu as refugees but were told we could not settle their as we were not born there so we were forced to move again & we ended up in Delhi as refugees second time. There were millions like that. We were born in Lahore why we were forced to leave? Think of millions of lives those were destroyed in 1947. Pakistan does not want to develop border towns as it may have another war to take rest of Kashmir as well. India & Pakistan are not going to unite again a dream impossible to happen. You as citizens of Pakistan have to ask your leaders to stop wars open the borders & let people on both sides live in peace & harmony as they did before 1947. No use crying over split milk now it is too late. Thank you

My grandparents tells a lot of stories about India and its land. I wish peace between both countries and go to India Hoshyarpur Punjab to see the land of my ancestors. We are in Punjab Pakistan and one of the married sisters of my grandmother was left behind in India. Don't know she survived or not.

My grandparents left many houses in india and also a lot of jewelry. After reaching their destination Pakistan, they refused to accept a Haveli with 40 rooms and choosed a small house with 2 rooms. They were extremely rich in india but in the love of Pakistan, they didn't claim anything after coming here and said that the land of Pakistan is enough for them, just one small house to fulfill shelter need is enough. They were not greedy at all, and they leave 40 rooms haveli for those in need. I'm so proud of them and their kindness ❤Love for Pakistan and no hate for india at all.
