  • Working on my Old School / Old man One Off Rail Buggy Build.
Decided to get some real world welding practice on the bottom where it won't show before I do the top.
Want to get things strong enough so I can mount a real transmission and engine and decide on frame layout.

Do you know of painters grinding in Denver?

  • @reddmann2216

I, too, started with fluxcore even though my welder was capable of mig ..got to where I could do body panels without blowing through...will soon purchase an argon bottle and expect to find it fast and easy to learn ...

Hi Greg. Love watching this build. Really enjoy your style, creativity, and craftsmanship. Jigs? We don't need no stinking jigs.

  • @strokermaverick

Brilliant! Ugly welds, dont mean bad welds! Triangulation, is the strongest!

I have an old pair of gloves that will make a good candidate for the gloves shield. I'm going to try it. Thanks GZ

EZ, Thanks, you are an inspiration. Keep up the great work.

It’s looking good EZ! Couldn’t really see your welds, but it sounded really good, though Your still using the “eraser” a bit? 😂😂😂. I wish We were closer(I’m in NW Pa.) , We would get along pretty well, and I could pass along some professional eraser skills, and a whole bunch of other stuff, and neither of us would get anything accomplished! Maybe it’s better this way. You’re actually holding Me up right now on My marathon 69 project, which is finally nearing completion, but that is just fine!
