  • This wheel and car package is in need of a quick makeover so I thought I would just do a scuff and rattle can paint job. It won't be used every day so it should last a fairly long time.

That bead breaker tool looks like it works great.
Never thought of using a trash bag, that’s a clever idea!
    Great work as always.

That’s a neat trick with the trash bag. I’ll have to remember that one.

Great wee buggy, and a good tip about photographing the wheel before you pop the tyre from the rim … lovely colour btw👍

I use my round mechanic's seat that rotates where I place the wheel on a sheet of newspaper to protect the vinyl of the seat. Then the bag and a bungie cord holding the bag tight to the tire. I can then rotate the wheel while spraying the paint. I get really great results and avoid runs and most imperfections as well as an even coating of the paint. I usually put two to three coats on each wheel.

That hood on sand rail is like taking half 11 to another level

    G'day Mr EZGZ,
That's a great idea with the garbage bag.
I've just done my wheels in much the same colour and one thing I would recommend is to put a coat of clear over your paint. I went for satin clear, it hides any blemishes you might have but most of all the clear protects your paint.
So thanks for sharing man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.

exactly my method. love your videos as always. the epoxy 2 part clear coatings are really good that you can buy anywhere. its the spray cans that get activated by a hardener hidden inside. happy wheeling

Its the little things that makes us smile. Love the color you used on the drum ect. Too. Cooper cobras are the best. Take it to Dragonmans in CO. 🎩

No name on them and they came on a buggy I bought about 30 years ago.
