Roussel.Ian?...
The channel is working really good, good content. Nice balance between information and banter. Couldn't have wished for anything better. The sound and camera work is very good.
I've had loads of jumpers with holes burned in the lower right part of the body. In fact I've got one on right now....
Many years ago I had to go to the local hospital, I'd had a grinding spark in my eye for a couple of days, which I couldn't get out... I got my head strapped to some kind of frame work they had bolted to a desk and the doc came at me through a hole in a magnifying glass with a hypodermic needle straight for my eye ball. I barffed all over him as he poked me in the eye with the needle..... Always wore googles when I was grinding after that.....
Ohh I can understand that! Eye protection is a MUST with car building! Stay safe 😎
@@fullcustomIan Ear protection too. I said EAR PROTECTION TOO! ;)
Ever spit "color" after welding, sanding, grinding or painting.. wear a mask. Would you run a prized engine down a dirt road without an air filter? Lungs are harder to replace than an engine.
NO, I'm not the safety police. Do your thing. I'm just a worn out old guy who should have listened when he was younger.
Maybe some talented young person will read the above comment about the eye (been there) and mine and be able to continue this hobby a bit longer and be healthier than us old farts who were "tough".
/mini-rant over ;)
Roussel’s custom fabrication and detective agency, what a show
😂😂😂 right!? Jamie has a knack for finding things 😎
Ian, digging the new channel. Your fabrication skills are off the hook, and I enjoy watching them and learning new things.
Thank you! So much more to come! Big ideas brewing in this head of mine!
I watched ion many years ago.and have allways loved to watch him build cars..top notch.
Thank you!
THANKS JONNIE FOR SHOW US IAN AT WORK.👍
The lever handle on the gas tap is for reserve (not off), The early VW's didn't have a fuel gauge, you just drive until it started sputtering and then reach down and turn it, I don't think we had seatbelts on my Mom's '63, or at least I probably wasn't wearing it back then anyway.
That's the way I remember it.😊
Ian been watching Full custom garage in Australia since it started , I love your show and explanations. My father somehow got me a VW Beatle buggy with the body off and roll cage added back in 1977 , had hrs of fun driving it on my father's farm . Looking at your buggy brings back some precious memories. Keep it up Ian .👍
Thank you! VWs are great cars and fun to work on and modify! I even built my wife a dune buggy! Stay tuned to see the final result and the desert ride out! 😎
Always a joy watching Ian work
Love yall show. Thank yall so much
Thank you!!!
thanks again for you both sharing your time with us......
Our pleasure!
Great video you guys! You’re really on a roll with this now. Jamie’s filming and added commentary is awesome. You guys make a great team!
Thank you!! Jamie is really enjoying creating with me! 😎
Pretty soon you won’t need those Transmitter guys! 😲
Thanks for tube bending tips and tricks! And THIS is why I enjoy watching your stuff…. I learn.
Thanks for the videos!!
Glad you like them!
Jamie's laugh is terrific. You can tell she loves her man.,,and his quirky sense of humor.
Glad your here!!!! Keep it coming. Thanks
More to come!
i was just about to go to bed and this popped up in my feed . Need to watch .. the buggy is coming along nicely
Thank you!
The Kustom Hot Rod Panel Delivery in the background is KOOL !!!!!
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
No problem 👍
Jamie has a GREAT laugh !!!
Great job Jamie and Ian.
Thanks 👍
great ep!
Thank you Johnny! 😎
What that a Romper Room reference, Ian?
Love watching the madness of, yes and. Keep killing it, sir. Love your builds. Works of art.
I use to watch your show on Discovery or TLC I can't remember but I love your work thanks Greg
I'm glad to see the new road you are taking. I enjoy your work so much. I'm 74 and can't do what I use to do. I now live through you and Kindig-it. Can't stand the shows that fight and argue about everything. There are so many good craftsman across the Country that are missed but they show a shop that can't spell shop.
Glad to see the wife has joined you in the shop. I do miss the inspectors, I hope the quality doesn't fade.
Thank you John! We expect the quality to get better! We appreciate you tuning in and your support! Stay tuned!
It was instant subscribe when I found the channel. Loved watching Full Custom on TV...waiting on more 😉
Me too I couldn't hit the subscribe button fast enough. I thought I was dreaming lol 👍😉✌
Welcome aboard!
Me tooooooo I’ve watched them all too👊🏻👏🏻
Even worse than metal in your eye is a piece of the grinding wheel. The metal will come out with a magnet. Safety first. Love the new show. 👍
Definitely safety first… metal in the eye is no fun
Good job Jamie getting in there close guys love the close up shots! 👍😉✌
Thank you! It’s her medical training in action lol who knew she’d be able to translate it to cars! 😎
Thank you for sharing.Very much enjoyed. Battery acid explosion/trip. LOL
Best cooking show on the internet!
Great channel. Love the fact that you are basically live just working on the projects. Enjoying getting your instructions on fabrication and welding. Only things I might have done was make the gas tank higher than the carb so if the fuel pump goes out you can still get the buggy home on gravity feed. I HATE thieves and hope the police caught the ones that stole your stuff.
They probably didn’t , but we got a replacement 🙌🏼
Love the candid UA-cam! Very cool!
I am really loveing your videos. The two of you together are a great team. Jamie needs a better microphone so we can hear her better. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! She’s a bit camera shy at the moment, but may come around 😂
nice to see you working you guys are a lovely couple camera work is fantastic too
You are absolutely an ARTIST. Good work ethics and all your narrations makes sense. Take care and always be safe. Retired from Pahrump Nevada.
Great job. Can't wait to visit with you two kiddos when you come to spokane. .
You know we love The Spokane Speed and Custom Show! It will be our third consecutive year attending and we look forward to it every year! See ya there!
I’m not a VW or dune buggie guy but I’m certainly digging this build. 👍😎
Romper Room? You are older than I thought! LOL.
😂😂😂😂😂
Always a pleasure for sure...
Good to see some great fab.
Glad to see you ! Seeing you work on this buggy makes me want to get mine up and running, it's a rail job, I have an ideal to put an old cab that's rusted to make a rat bug.
Go for it!
Big fan of the TV show, great to see your new channel. Like how you reuse old stuff.
Wow feels like we are right in the Garage with you guys ...very cool..after watching for years on TV now it feels live !!!!
That’s what we are going for! Thank you for the feedback 🙌🏼
Glad you're on UA-cam. I have been following you on instagram for the longest. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
I really enjoy watching your channel, great job and thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Enjoy your content love this channel
I appreciate that
Really enjoying this, much better than watching it on TV. Love the kinda behind the scenes that is usually edited out
Same tank I had on my 56’ bug. Drove it til it chugged then flipped the lever under the dash with my foot for another gallon of go juice. Roller gas pedal was the same too. Enjoying the videos.
Great vid guys, love the quality of the content and the production! ( And always do backups! Portable drives are cheap, archive your content often! ) I also like that you are being considerate of content length. I find for me that I am always willing to watch an 8-12 minute vid, and need to set aside time to watch 15-30 minute vids, and cringe if I see a 45 minute video..... For example, I had to wait until I had a 38 minute chunk of available time, before I clicked on this episode.
Ian, your new format is awesome! most entertaining and delight to watch. You and Jamie rock the Fab car world. keep the faith brother.
Thanks so much!
shore glad you you tubing BRO! be ye own BOSS
Welders tuck 😂😂😂😂 …… I love it 🤭🥰
Really like your Videos, a fan for over fifteen Years.
Your welds sound so nice. That is what I aspire to
Glad you are on UA-cam 👍👍
Hints of whats to come in the background there? Whatever it is, im diggin it
In due time!
Always great content and the video work keeps getting better and better. This is super sharp and easy to see on my screen.
Thank you!
Every time I watch i learn!!!’
You can take the stock fuel tap off. Tap the whole for 1/4” pipe thread. And screw in a brass fitting. It works good
😎
Jamie nice to hear your lovely voice
Been watching Ian from the beginning
Looking forward to more great content
Great video thanks!! see ya on the next one.
Oooh man, I wanna see the build sitting behind you!!!
Thanks, Ian and Jamie.
Ian. You are still a goof. Jamie always laughing.. absolutely awesome bro. That's a good thing. We know some same people.
Jamie needs to stick a wood block underneath the die on the bender , so it doesn't catch when it reverses. Looking the new channel.
The pointer for your degree wheel, is made from a piece of 8 inch TIG wire. Wrapped around that little bolt on the large rotating tie portion
Really am enjoying these videos guys. Thanks. I’m going in for surgery tomorrow morning and I’ll have my iPad so I can watch.
Hey geno here again ,my son has a 1-ton 4x4 extended cab just setting .
Don't know if he'll part with it.
But the last time it ran it had a ghost in the wiring, so it ran then it would die.
Let it set then it started. And it's all the way back here in central Missouri,
Love the channel, love watching a master craftsman at work. Thank you for sharing your skills.
Glad I found you on the tube!! I believe that the lever on the fuel tank was for reserve access. I had on on a 57 I owned many light years ago!
Brilliant!
Too easy, but well done. KISS it every time.
Thank you!!
I have to chuckle a little about your UA-cam gremlins. I think all of us who create for UA-cam have experienced the same things. 🙂 Super glad to have found you on UA-cam since I watched seasons of your other shows on cable. I especially like UA-cam videos because they feel more authentic and less "polished" than the TV productions. You can show as much, or as little detail as you want without some editor chopping out interesting segments to fit the show's time box. Can't wait for more content!!
Just found the channel. Love watching the show, looking forward to see the future projects here.
Tracy you're correct, the Lever is for reserve but fuel gauges were standard '60 - '61 .... my '60 bug had a fuel ⛽️ gauge..... I have a few crazy stories with that 🚗
Oh wow!
Ian! So glad to see you again working on stuff! Glad you made your own channel! Love seeing your working and talents! A true artist! Looking fwd to meeting you one day!
Thanks Straight Ahead✌😎
Love the new channel. Working on getting my old VW bus back on the road after a near-20 year nap. This is right up my alley. Love the old-school tee-pee exhaust! Looking forward to learning a thing or three.
I am very happy to see you on YT, Ian. I watched your show on that TV channel, but they kept showing the same 10 or so videos over and over again. You are truly the master of the design on the fly method of custom fabrication Keep up the GREAT work!
I just found your UA-cam channel. Much better than the one on TV...keep up the good work!
Loving your channel! What is that creation in the background, it kinda reminds me of a hot rod hearse? Please give Jamie a microphone so we can hear what she is saying too! Thanks for taking the time to video your work!
It’s another top secret project I’m working on! It will be featured in the show on the network next year! So stay tuned!!
I've been following you since the beginning, can't wait to see what your fertile mind comes up with next!
thank you for sharing
That's remember me when Y was younger and weld, made two dune buggies here in the Caribbean, strongest build all good pipe cage from cero to finish Y prove myself. Now Y can't do practically nofin but stele remember all my fabrication during my life.
Cool stuff going on here 😎
7.05 k subscribers. Lol, that will be 100k in a month. 500k in a year. Thanks Ian (and Mrs custom)
The switch on the bottom of the tank opened the reserve tank. If you remove the valve you will discover two stand pipes, the tall one is the main, the short one is the reserve.
Ian I enjoy watching your builds. The angle tube to the fuel valve was for the reserve. The early cars did not have a fuel gauge and the angled part stuck out in the center of the floor by the gas pedal so you could move it with your foot after the main ran out. My parents had one when I was a kid.
Spray a little WD in the bender between the tube and die and it will decrease drag and won't put as much pressure on the tube. Love y'alls videos! Howdy from Texas!
Really enjoying your UA-cam channel Ian and Mrs. R!!. Your conversations and added creativity add a fun dimension. Subscribed.
That’s so kind!! Thank you! We are having fun! Definitely brings us closer! 😎😎
It’s about time you created a you tube channel.. looking forward to watch you build incredible rides again 👍
Love it mate. I reckon those side gussets on the roll bar need a rake to them to match the top line.
Hope you sacked the other guy for the missing footage 😆 .... Great video work Jamie .... oh and some nice bending and welding of metal Ian 👍
She’s still employed 😂😂😂😂
Giving her a second chance lan 😉 😆
IAN, the gas valve is for turning on the gas to reserve. I drove a 54 VW bug during my Navy years for about 4 yrs.Looks like a lot of fun. I turned my into a Baha Bug as the dents kept coming.
So glad to have finally found Your channel.. I've been a fan since those HOT RODS RAT RODS & KUSTOM KULTURE BACK FROM THE DEAD DVDS...and SHAKE RATTLE AND ROLL DVD!
the lever on the gas tank was to switch to "reserve" by letting the fuel pickup drain from lower in the tank.
Great to see you on ewetoob, Ian.
I've followed your tv magic for years but not all of us have the tv channels you have been on.
Get that lady a microphone too. If she is going to add to the storyline we need to hear her. And it sounds like she has enough background on you and your stories to make them even better. :)
Watch the newer ones! She’s on the microphone there! Thank you for your support! Please subscribe if you haven’t to keep up with all the content 🙌🏼
I subscribed as soon as I found your channel. That was a no-brainer. As someone who has messed around on cars since the early 70s I enjoy watching you work and marvel at your creativity.
I'm working my way through the videos now. :)
Have a great day. Treat the shop inspectors well. ;)
omg Ian's on youtube! I'm in 110%
Hope you hit the million views ! Won't take long !
IAN is the man! thanks for menchaning my name 'bill"
Nice 👍
It’s really nice to see you back again. Hang in there you’ll get plenty of subscribers.
Very nice job Ian get foam like they use in a few shell and cut it down and put it into the tank and I won’t slash around
