As a person who watches a lot of gold prospecting channels I like to see the gold show on the indicator mat and not so much talking.
It would be nice to see what is in each sluicebox instead of all at once!
Also, stop wasting time classifying! Set up in the river and just shovel int you're hopper! That's what it's for!
Nice find for the So. Platte River!
Here in Evans I go to the Platt river and found gold flakes
The Platte is a good place for it!
So after being out to Colorado so many times prospecting, we have never tryed the south plate. What I would like to know is where you on a claim, or are there places on the river anyone can go.
I was on a public dig site. There is a book called "finding gold in Colorado." If you want to find public dig sites on the Platte I suggest you get it!
What's the closest town where your doing your prospecting?
You need the legs on that sluice!
Most definitely
I know exactly where your at. I used to live on south Galapago st just to the east of you. As soon as I saw the walk bridge I knew it.
Awesome adventure on the river. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much!
WoooHooo I won that is awesome thank you!!! Another great video keep them coming. I loved how you showed the cleanup from this run and the gold you got. very nice for 14 buckets. That is a nice little honey hole you got there some really nice size pieces, bigger then i ever get. great find. Just one little tip to save you some money. Be sure to keep your pump fully submerged under water. I used to keep the top of mine out of water and after 1 year it over heated and blew the top off of it. I had to learn the hard way as always haha. Heavy Pans my friend!!!
Great tip! Thanks Scott!
My grandpa has 300 acres in colorado that has around 20 old gold and silver mines on it but he needs to get them checked out so if anyone knows who i could call in colorado that can do this sort of thing id appropriate it
I would be more than happy to do some consultation and check out your grandfathers property!

I'd love to get on a phone call with you and talk to you more about this!
Good job on your first find
Thank you!
Way to get out there. That’s the best part of prospecting to me - just doing it since it’s hit or miss but enjoy being outside. Finding some gold was a bonus I’m sure. I’ve been skunked plenty.
Right! Nothing much better than just getting out and having fun in the river for a day. Whether ya find a bunch of gold or not
Us colorado boys know how to mine, awesome video brother
Thank you!
joli 👍
Thank you!
Can I bring my 4” dredge ?im from Indiana
I'm not exactly sure about dredging, but I think a 4 inch isn't allowed
@@whiteglovestudio thanks for clearing that up
No gas powered equipment in the metro area!!!
Clear Creek in Jefferson County it is allowed without a permit up to 4"!
Hope that's not makeup... go easy.
What are you even talking about?
