    I like the equipment used. Have yet to do anything but a hand operated pipe plunger to crush and its brutal.

      I'm going to be 75 soon and my poor body can't take that kind of punishment, so I'm always on the look out for alternatives.

    Great video my friend. Good basics on gold ore and the difference in gold and pyrite square crystals. I use a hand crusher to break the larger pieces for use in the jaw crusher. No criticism just a different process. really good dust system and crusher set up. No dust is awesome. 😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥

    Very interesting way of extracting gold. I’d love to compare running the quartz dust through my blue bowl with the Lake Michigan black sand I’ve been using.

    I would recommend you pan into another pan. That way it catches what your panning. And can go through it a few times. I always go till I get no gold. Usually twice.

      I always pan the tailings before putting them into our New Mexico Blend bin.

    I have been looking at the Mighty Mill but I don’t smash enough rock to justify buying one.

      Neither do I, but when I need to crush something it's perfect. My friend has been using it to crush glass that they use to melt and make jewelry.

    That one black sand at at the bottom center @ 4:05 left in video. Looks like a bear facing 7 o’clock. Like looking down hill. Also could the really dark ones be iron?

    • @crewoftwodocs
      @crewoftwodocs  9 місяців тому

      I know exactly which one you're talking about. They could be iron, considering they came from Colorado, which has some iron and some lead mines.
