Like how do they not know this stuff like I can understand a couple minor bugs like that’s expected but for full on features to be disabled and not even included in the update, it’s like why even say your going to have an update when nothing is really changing that they claimed would be added, super frustrating

People saying "its just 2 items" or "blame on you for waiting" do not understand at all how gaming industry works, and probably did not play the game since then. Its completelly filled with bugs, servers are still not optimized, there was NO CHANGES AT ALL in the anti-hack, stealth sucks, characters can be seen glitched inside the chests so the disguises also do not work, the mermaid fruit is useless since the major use of it was to pair with stealth and disguises, and the blowdart is not a reliable pvp weapon and not even pve. It takes too long to reload, too long to fire in long distances (and they are not even that great) and is very glitchy, with unreliable bullet-tracking-path when in movement (if you know about game development you know what i mean) Its not "just two things havent been added" its the entire fucking game breaking collapsing into itself, and i can assure you, the update took so long because shit were breaking while they were trying to update and they did not know what to do. Only solution? Get rid of part of the update and release everything breaking in hope the people that spent 1000 hours into the game dont give a shit, bc since they are so addicted they are going to keep playing anyways. Sea of thieves is a sinking ship, and insthead of restoring it they are placing planks over planks in hope the water doesnt come in.
This game is the buggiest worst-developed popular game I've ever played. When I log in tonight I'll be expecting not just the new bugs but all the old "fixed" bugs that always come back with each new patch/release, like 58 sharks in the water the second you swim. Good times.
At the end of the day, I would rather them hold content to fix it than for it to be in the game just for bugs to be exploited and people just be angry.
We’ll just get a development video where Drew goes “Our hands are up, we admit things didn’t go well” and they’ll think it’s suddenly all better and move along

@@TheCatSidhe No, They "added" the content. made us download an update. disabled the MAIN features of the new season and did not let us know until a few hours before the update... If they delayed it a few days or even a week people wouldnt be as upset
So thats why i didnt find any traps. Also the blow pipe seems to do no damage at all right now. And deck harpoon shots are 100% still in the game, just the sloops are immune.

I have been Double Gunning ever since 2019 and I feel that Sea of Thieves is purposely trying to make Double Gunning not a thing anymore due to them locking the ammo crate being locked on enemy crates.
The season wasn't ready and they didn't want to push it back. Simple as that. In the past they pushed it back way too much. This season is by far the worst they've ever put out. I've been grinding hourglass and realized....there isn't any actual new content in the new season. Rare is the worst.
My opinion: Stop giving us a season of content, there already is a b load of content and give us a season of stability. It is the reason why the Game is in decline for quite some time now.
Yeah it’s ruff wake up early to download the update and play but it screwed up easy anti cheat and I had to fight it for hours then when I finally got it fixed all I got was two new weapons and two hiding emotes that are super buggy I do like the blow dart for tuking but the grapple gun isn’t worth taking up a weapons slot if you know how to bored
Servers are always down for updates, typically they don't take nearly this long. Usually, the servers are back up around 9am my time and today they weren't back up until 12:30 ish. It was a mess today not because the servers were down, it was a mess because they didn't properly test the release which resulted in fixes and feature removal during downtime

Merfruit should be flipped. The mermaid spawn should be based off of time spent in the water and not distance from your ship, and the merfruit should instantly call the mermaid to you.

Servers are always down for updates, typically they don't take nearly this long. Usually, the servers are back up around 9am my time and today they weren't back up until 12:30 ish. It was a mess today not because the servers were down, it was a mess because they didn't properly test the release which resulted in fixes and feature removal during downtime
