If you’re doing this concept again, I’d love to hear you talk with someone with more different way of thinking/dressing than you. I feel like conflicted opinions lead to more reflection and new ideas. Instead of : “I agree with you, same with me, me too I don’t like colors”, etc… which I find no real value in. I liked the energy of being 2, but content wise, you could’ve made these points by yourself I feel.

One thought how questions, instead of asking, 'Do proportions play an important role for you when putting an outfit together?' (when we know the answer is it does), it could be helpful to say 'how does proportions ..' that way it tee's up the interviewee to dive straight in :)

The part about bold colors has been a problem for me. I often want to like wearing them, but I run into the same issues you guys described: they're not versatile enough, and you wonder if you'll be remembered for wearing that bright green shirt. And yet, sometimes I find colorful pieces that I really like, so I can't decide if they're worth buying.
Agree with pretty much everything said! I have some advice for older millennials with a short, stubby stature (I’m a 5’5” male, 140-145lbs). I’ve lost a good amount of weight over the past several years and used perfectly (sometimes slim) fitting clothes to appear both slimmer and taller than I really am. I have done the oversized thing during the 90s and when it began trending again, I was reluctant to try it again after having lost a lot of weight and enjoying my close-fitting wardrobe. As of recent, I have found a happy medium with sizing up slightly above whatever “perfect fitting” is. And the key to appearing taller, the key for me is to wear pants properly! I avoid drop crotch and high rise because you wanna show as much leg as possible. For an oversized look, I maintain a close fitting look at the waist and thighs, but go for a straight or wider leg opening. And as for tops, you also wanna avoid tops that cover more than half your crotch area. I personally try to get as close to my waistline as I can (I been goin crazy with my sheers cropping thrifted tops! lol) As these guys said, just guidelines, everyone will have different circumstances. Happy fashioning!

I've got mostly neutrals, but I've varied my neutral darks and lights in terms of colour, at some point I got sick of thinking black was the only dark neutral, so I have a bunch of dark indigo/navy blue which gives me variety in darkness, or even a really dark plum or a really dark green (basically when it's very dark, most colours work as neutrals) To introduce colour in my wardrobe, I picked a clothing category where I would diversify the colour, my tops, and then everything else is 95% neutrals, so I'm never ever wondering how to match a coloured top to other items in the outfit. (Someone could pick trousers to have majority of their colour in) The other category I put colour in is dresses because they're usually the complete outfit, no need to match anything. It's better than when I was young, buying everything in every colour and no basics then start wondering what I'm supposed to do with a neon green top and pink trousers 🤣🤣😭
Experimenting is def key. You will reach a point when you experiment less but hopefully found a place where you’re def comfortable and confident in what you wear. This keeps you from making impulsive buys and regretting it later. Good questions all around. 👏👏👏
