He recorded this hidden gem at Graceland in the famous Jungle Room in 1976, a year before his sudden death. He at times sounds like the early 1957 Elvis on this recording.
He is not one of the greatest but simply THE GOAT!!! Why! Because he is the only singer taken up in all the halls of fame, and in all music styles he had hits. He is still the best selling artist, till now almost 2 billion records, the Beatles or who ever don't come close! Without Elvis never the Beatles or who ever! He is 46 years dead and they still talk about him, they ever made again a movie about him. For me Elvis is THE GOAT not only as artist but he was also of his humanity and generosity! It is unbelievable what the gave away to help people, surely 2/3 of his income he gave away for the good cause. His dad, Vernon Presley, said once "Elvis why are you giving so much away to people you even don't know, I'm worrying about your bank account" Elvis replied "Listen dad, I love to see people happy, I enjoy so much of their smiles of their face when they are happy. If i make a record or give a concert I have millions of dollars on my account just like that, so I don't worry about money. And besides if somebody ask me money to make him or her happy, who am I to refuse that?" Elvis was also very humble, he never called himself "the king" whey fans said that he replied "I'm not the king only Jesus is King" (Amen) and to you or us he said sir or mylady and then he said "please just call me Elvis" And I can go on like this. Finally I say that if we all would do what Elvis did, the world would be a much better place

Iv been watching your channel . Its great and it's nice to see you doing elvis again . This was after a session elvis wasn't happy with the start so he asked the piano player to play with him only at the start . . This is when he was supposed to be washed up . I do t think so

Vocals are VG, but the song itself is slow. It's a traditional irish song. I always thought this recording was an impromptu song he did at the piano (not intending to be released) & done when he was in a quiet / pensive mood. I don't think songs like this are really great for reaction videos. A lot of his mid 70s recordings had this same feel, a bit depressing, BUT there were some gems which had more intensity & worthy of replay, such as: moody blue, pledging my love, Hurt, etc.
Elvis was and only ever be the great white hope for white America to get the white American daughter out of the black clubs.
