We installed a Honeywell ERV to help with ventilation issues caused by spray foam insulation. This is the first time I opened it to clean the filters. I also talk about how it has improved the ventilation in our house.

How, with an ERV and spray foam you can control the air that comes into your house, lower your energy bill, and control the humidity....
You literally only benefit from a non-vented roof design if your insulation is tight enough.

@@Lolatyou332 How is his energy bill lower if he has to run his ERV and and whole home dehumidifier at a cost of approximately $50 per month? I would wager that in some instances a tighter home is a zero sum gain once you factor in the additional system costs.
