Photoshop ecosystem is just too complicated, I appreciate image editing programs that provide the important features and allow plugins to do the rest, basically like Linux.

Linux Mint Cinnamon very much reminds me of Windows 10 except it's better I like the wallpaper and theming layout it might not be for everyone but it is scary close to Windows potential and Linux Mint is by far the most stable Linux distro if I had it my way I would definitely switch to Linux Mint I heard people have been staying on it for YEARS without switching to another distro and is almost like its own Operating System I would give Linux Mint a thumbs up and I watched it on Linus Tech Tips if I get a computer upgrade this one is becoming a Linux Mint Cinnamon for sure guys.
The way to dual boot with a modern PC is to use the rEFInd boot manager. As much as I can't stand Windows, I can't get DMM to work in Linux (not without effort).
Software def the biggest issue. Outside of coders, there are a lot of missing software and free office suite wasn't great last time I checked. If it has drastically improved in recent years that would be interesting
I grew up using Win 95/98/2000, they were crap OS but the UI was not. It was simple, clean, took minimal desktop space and stayed out of the way. For this reason I configure any Linux desktop like 98/2000 with a thin taskbar, a start menu and system tray. A few new things have come along like search on the menu and window arrangement tools that have been real beneficial features but not a lot else. This workflow has served me efficiently for decades but UI designers keep trying to fix what was never broken. I'm not saying my way is the best way but trying to force me into some horrible touch screen style UI with giant icons because that is the trend is just going to make me use something else. The answer is Linux should be like Windows if you want it to be, where it makes sense. Especially since Linux will increasingly become a home for Win refugees as MS continues to ruin their OS.
