When I was looking at this car it took me a while to get past "I can buy faster cars for less money." That is absolutely true. But as you said, it feels faster than it is, and I pass 3-4 Porsche's a day on my way to work. In addition, in my opinion it looks much better than anything in its range. Agree, this car is raw as hell. It is not for the timid, but it is definitely for me.
Having The 4C , Elise and Evora...this one is the best compromise of them all Heritage/Analog Feel With Soul of the Italian Cars Of the Older Days...But In The Modern Era
I love you for that, straight up. My dream car, and the fact that you daily that masterpiece😍😍 The town where you live propably arent grateful enough for seeing the 4c everyday 🤤
@@egortarasovskis8710 Thank you, Egor. I actually live in Florida, so the weather is great most of the year. A lot of supercars in Miami. The 4C is my only car and it's very usable actually. It's a great city car because of its size.
The Alfa Romeo 4c is the best car I've ever driven! You're right. It's so raw! You also forgo to mention that it doesn't have power brakes. You're right about the steering. After test-driving the Alfa Romeo 4c, I didn't even want to go back o power steering.
Last week I went to the “coveted” C8 viewing. I spent the previous 2 months “building” and “configuring” and re-re-configuring the 2020 C8. I had paid $1000 to have an early ordering slot. Then I actually saw it in person. I then asked for my money back and drove straight to the Porsche dealer to cleanse my soul. Your assessment of the C8’s weight is right on, and it is this experience that had me end up here. I had no idea the 4C existed, or that it was a mid-engine car. Now it is in first place above (slightly) the Cayman.
You nailed this. I had a 2015 4C Spider for 3 years until more kids happened - now I have a Giulia Quadrifoglio which is phenomenal, but I miss my 4C terribly. Not quite as raw as the Lotus Elise I had before it, but pretty close. Well done!
Great video on 4C. Your insight is engaging and on target with just the right amount of attitude. I've owned my 4C Coupe for over a year and love it. Picked it up with 500 miles well under 50K. I only wish I had a 3 car garage.
This is the best opening since you video on the Hellcat. Amazing cinematography all around and I truly love the detailed review. Thank you for these 12 minutes of car bliss this evening.
Think when people complain about the quality of the interior they are forgetting how expensive that carbon tub is. Try buy any part in carbon it's extremely expensive. They are trying to justify a 70k pound Renault Megane because it has carbon "parts" on it. The whole chassis on the 4c is made of it.
Last year, I had the pleasure of working as a sales person for Alfa Romeo and Abarth. Driving the Australian spec 4c, is definitely surreal. I haven't driven any car like it, it's very raw and very drivers focused. This car is a true weekend car, as you said the interior is basic and trying to park this thing is terrible. But when your on the track or on a windy road, you can't compete.
Nice perspective and review. The cinematography and direction is pro and on point! Love, Love, Love your content. I know I'm in for a treat every time I press play.
Very well done, and I think you nailed it right on the head! The 4C is a perfectly flawed sports car, but dang does it look good and make you smile (on the right pavement). The short gears really make it a blast to smash the throttle and keep it civil on public roads. So did you actually buy it? If you did and speaking from experience, don't waste your $ to try and make it date/wife friendly. On track it is a tad of a handful till the front geometry gets addressed, rear bushings replaced, and seats/harness that support you. Once done, it is way to fun to thrash around!!!
Thank you! Nope I didn't buy it. The guy who lent it to me for the video had just bought it. It had 22K miles on the odometer at the time and I have a feeling that the geometry was done. The red one that I drove at the track felt different than the grey one despite both being 2016 model years. The car has a lot of potential, I'd curious about their reliability in the long run and their ability to take abuse. I want to revisit the idea of purchasing one, but only after I drive an Exige and Ariel Atom (which is my dream track car).
@@SpeedLabsMotorEnvy Reliability is much better than many assume for an Alfa, given how bad they were when they left the US market. I have had very few issues with my car, and i make the comparison when VW took over Lamborghini. Lamborghini quality increased significantly due to it. I had a failed rear strut about a year into ownership (leaky), and a failed throttle position sensor (that ended my track weekend early). Everything has been taken car of under warranty, but parts (and labor) will be EXPENSIVE outside of warranty. In the video, the 300WHP I refer to is the EC Phase 2. But yes, I think the P3 would be an absolute monster. I did the extensions on a few of my cars and I agree, it's an easy way to fix shitty factory paddles.
Unfortunately probably not. Great car but I feel like an Exige or Ariel Atom may fit my needs more. I'm in the market for something extremely track focused for next season.
This car could be so Epic if they made a track version with wider hips , wider tires , front splitter , side skirts , rear diffuser, wing and a bump in power 450-500 hp. At its low weight that’s all the power it would need.
Future classic. My 4c has a bespoke ecu, full titanium exhaust and twin scroll turbo, in addition to a weight loss program to the tune of 200 lbs. It keeps up with my c7 z06 but is way more fun to drive and is probably a better track car. 0-100 mph in 8 seconds flat too. I will never sell this car. Destined to be a collector car one day...
Raw? I had a 1974 GTV, 1971 GTV, 1974 Spider, 1979 Alfetta, & a 1989 Milano Verde, everyone of those vehicles felt raw, cardboard like seats, leaky head gaskets, required change of camber arms, so many little things that will break. They sounded good especially with a Anza exhaust system. They drove lively, kind of cool looking. I sold them all awhile back. Do I miss it? No. Why? No cup holders
It’s a Beautiful Car. Nothing Feminine About It at All. I Would Buy a Brand New One Considering the Italians Updated Most Of Your Complaints. Their Website is Sweet. I Built One Last Night and It was a Beauty. I like Their Rosso Red and Besalt Grey. Would Probably Go With Their Besalt Cause I Already Enjoy My Red Maserati GT MC Convertible. So that Would Be Just a Little Too Much Red. Oh. The White One is a Beaut too.

Unfortunately probably not. Great car but I feel like an Exige or Ariel Atom may fit my needs more. I'm in the market for something extremely track focused for next season.
Track Day TV That’s fair. Best of luck with your search!
Put it against the Lotus Exige turbo....like to see how it matches up
I would say the Alpine A110 would be a better alternative nowadays but I guess that car isn't available in the US or is it?
Unfortunately, we don't get the Alpine A110 here.
They are very similar........ No sorry....... Theres 1 diffrence....... The alfa looks waaaaaaaay beter
This is really a cute little car
Never seen it in silver. Looks nice
This car could be so
Epic if they made a track version with wider hips , wider tires , front splitter , side skirts , rear diffuser, wing and a bump in power 450-500 hp. At its low weight that’s all the power it would need.
450hp?
Too much for this weight.
Max. 350hp
Wow. What did u do exactly to the motor? How much hp and torque does it have now?
Man my new dream car is this
Logical competitor for this would probs be a Boxster or a Lotus
It seems to have turbo lag and sounds like a Hoover, what is not to love?
there's no need to have giant paddles, if the paddles are fixed on the steering wheel, like they should be.
I really want to get want of these used.
My Dream car ... 😊 great video
Lights would be good at the end...
Just by the aftermarket carbon paddles
It’s a Beautiful Car. Nothing Feminine About It at All. I Would Buy a Brand New One Considering the Italians Updated Most Of Your Complaints. Their Website is Sweet. I Built One Last Night and It was a Beauty. I like Their Rosso Red and Besalt Grey. Would Probably Go With Their Besalt Cause I Already Enjoy My Red Maserati GT MC Convertible. So that Would Be Just a Little Too Much Red. Oh. The White One is a Beaut too.
