Personally I find the official video of ZVE10 ii a bit disappointing. It emphasize too much on creative look, while other features (10bit 4:2:2, 4k60p) are much more important. Anyone feels the same way?
As an original ZV-E10 owner as my main camera, I think even though I am 90% vlogging, the A6700 is a good choice. I will shoot more photos with it since it has a viewfinder. I'm currently using my cellphone for photos because I do minor edits to .jpgs. This might change but probably not because I prefer to spend more time color grading video. Maybe for select photos. Plus, I see myself shooting photos with the viewfinder at events and feeling comfortable, then turning the camera around and doing some vlogging.
@@TimBrownTown I think it makes perfect sense to use the a6700 as a vlogging camera. It’s got better stabilization, which is an important feature that the zve10 1and 2 lack
I was expecting to upgrade my ZV-E10 to Mark 2 because I wanted full usb-streaming features, but the overheating issues Gerald Undone has found about that + the lack of mechanical shutter has convinced me to stay with my good ol' Mark 1 since I'm very happy with its results even being 8bit. If I decide I need an upgrade in the near future I'll break my piggy bank and go for the A7CII, because it's the only Sony compact camera that I can enjoy and do whatever I want in any condition without thinking of megapixels, overheating, low light or whatever.
just turn off USB-C charging and you can stream until the battery dies out. my zv-e1 overheated in 30 mins while streaming with USB-C with charging on. after I turned it off, i got 1hr20mins+ (battery died).
@theendurance thanks for the tip, I believe many would find it helpful! @Mandelrot I agree a7cii is the whole package. If it has 4k120p and dynamic active steadyshot it's be a perfect camera. But now I'm already satisfied with it.
I will go for the ZV-e2 or next Sony A7SIV (if this is the case, I will sell my Sony A7CII, and my Sony ZV-e10)... I just need the sensor, dynamic stabilization from Sony ZV-e1 and a great mechanical obturador!
However, it turns out that Sony has the ability to provide part of the AI focus to the ZVE10 II without an AI chip. This is surprising to me, because the A1 does not have an AI chip, so why not update the latest Ai focus from the firmware?
If you need to take photos and will use it for 5 years, then 6700. If you want to pursue new technology and replace it with a new one after 2 years of use, then ZVE10 II.
@@CLVlogs05 Oh, I mean if you buy the A6700, you can get enough new technology for the next five years in one go, but if you buy the ZVE10 II, you need to buy a new every two years to get the technology of today's A6700. It should be about the same, ZVE10 III will add 4K 120 and AI focus, ZVE10 IV will add IBIS。

😂 me is family photo. Creative look and s cinetone very important as not to spend too much time on post production. I got the a6700last month.
Congrats on the new camera! It's true when I shoot s-log3 I spend a lot of time color grading😂

我购买过 zve1 ,6700,手持感觉来说我喜欢 zve1,散光灯 1/30 能用,需要模特不能动太多,我经常开 f16 哈哈。唯一不好的就是过热。
拍靜態照片也有過熱的問題嗎?

zve10 II 4k 60p has 1.1x crop I saw online. Is that same with a6700/fx30? I do not recall a6700/fx30 has any crop in 4k 60p.

Typical Sony product strategy, you just can't have it all in one camera.

I agree. Currently I think a6700 is the best apsc camera (even for vlogging) that can last for years.
but the question is, what new technology? didnt even add the new electrnoic stabilization or the auto framing to it ?

Only iso6400 maximum in active steady shot mode, you can not walk on the low light street holding this camera with 8000-10000iso, it’s awful.
