One of the most underrated actors, he was brilliant in every film he was in. Jaws, Sorcerer, French Connection, Marathon Man etc.
And BlueThunder!!
Klute, All That Jazz
Good scrap in the hotel in Marathon Man .
Dead fit too
Don't forget Jaws 2 too.
@@Jabberwockybird He's great in that too. I love Roy Scheider
I love this guy.. very underrated actor I really need to see more of his work..
Jesus Christ loves you
One great actor. He was always a pleasure to watch perform.
Jesus Christ loves you
Roy Scheider is a legend of cinema
I really wish he would’ve gotten more praise and attention when he was alive. Roy was such a unique and phenomenal actor!
Roy scheider is my favorite character ever ❤️❤️💕
Legend Rip Roy
We're gonna need a bigger boat.
*You're 😇
I get such a warm, nostalgic feeling whenever i see him. His performance in jaws opened my young eyes to the world i hadnt seen, all the terror, adventure and courage that was out there to find😢
Really good actor and apparently a really professional guy during filming (see William Goldman's chapter on 'Marathon Man' in 'Adventures of The Screen Trade'). I don't know if '2010' did damage to Scheider's film career or not. Maybe it was just that he was getting older, but he didn't star in any big budget, high profile movies after 1984. More supporting roles.
well he did seaquest for a season on nbc in the early 1990s
That makes so much sense. Robert Shaw infamous f*cked with Dreyfuss on the set of "Jaws," but I don't think he ever gave Roy a hard time. Total professional, and just so damn likable. Gone too soon.
52 pick up, the fourth was were two good movies he did after 1984. I think he just didn’t care after that. Probably got sick of Hollywood
Blue Thunder is one of my favorites of his!
Rest easy roy
It's so bad that hollywood doesn't appreciate such a wonderful actor roy scheider. Best actors of all time and 70s 80s were the best times.
How does Hollywood not appreciate him?
less than 3000 views since 2013. shame
8k now. Still a shame
I had no idea he ever did SNL, that's awesome! Such a good actor though, Jaws is the best; I might have to check out his other works as well.
What I would’ve done to meet Roy 😢
I am watching this because I just realized after almost 50 years I have been calling him Schneider with an N and there is no N!
Honestly I had been calling him Schneider until around last year. I’m glad I’m not alone
1985. This was filmed in the second term of Reagan the First. Now we're on Reagan VII; they have turned us into a third world country
Mass immigration and the welfare state began in the 1960's under president Johnson. We are suffering much today from the laws passed in the 1960's(1965 Immigration Act and welfare system that began in the 60's). Ronald Reagan was a very good president and a very good man. In my opinion I don't think we have had one single good president since Reagan. We had good men as presidents from Truman onwards, except for the Texan Johnson the others were men of high standing. Nixon was highly intelligent, Jimmy Carter was of the highest orders and well as Reagan. This country starting going down hill in the late 1980's when Bush came into power. Political correctness started in stride in the late 80's and now we have PC or wokeness to absurdity. The only answer now is to divide the USA into various countries and city states and become as Europe was a thousand years ago in regards to borders.
Theirs a Roy Scheider monologue ?
I forgot the band started up top. Much better to see them.
And JAWS 2
I can't get over the fact that Roy Scheider wasnt Jewish he was German Irish
True New Yorker at his finest.
That’s Jewish humor for you! Boy do I love me some Jewish humor?
Strangely, Roy Scheider wasn’t Jewish. He was Irish-German
Roy wasn't jewish, he was Irish/German.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Truly missed.
Jesus Christ loves you and all
