It's extremely strange how the main threat of the expansion are the forces that work with the elements, elements running wild and stuff. And the Earthen Ring is nowhere to be seen, hardly even mentioned, nor any of the prominent Shaman in lore.
They actually have a small presence, but it's in quests that you have to go out of your way to find them Like I found one in the volcanoes of the Waking Shores, while dragon riding.

@@wasdicay473 Ner’zhul was a Shaman. Gul’dan was never a Shaman. He went to the Throne of Elements and begged for their blessings but they didn’t answer.
@@Draethar I don't know, but a lot of retconning happens with this company but the old Horde Player's Guide for the RPG quoted him as a "former shaman" who "...[Abandoned] the ways of shamanism..." which also noted him being aware that the force who he gave up his elemental powers to was a demon-lord. So that's what I remembered, but they change stuff all the time to suit current expansion events I must have lost track.
For the first time in years I'm actually interested in warcraft lore again, it's really nice to see theorycrafting like this. I love it when they release expansions that give you stuff like this to consider
The leak from MoP Time which predicted main theme of every expansion had this and next predicted and it ended there. Next expansions main themes is elementals themselves.
I thought it was Azshara. We haven't seen her since Ny' Alotha where we freed her and she went for "true seat of power". Apparently, its still in ocean. And if you take a look at DF cinematic- you can see some "magical blue effect" coming from the ocean, waking up Titan Guardian from his slumber. Got any thoughts on that 1 @Nobbel87 ?
i swear that light bluish water area west of the Oh'narin plains looks way to much like a future water zone for a 10.x update. would make sense if we got nagas coming back this expansion

The player is asked to find some, using an item that shows their disguise, and kill them. With the evoker class new trailers it also shown that Nozdormu has some blank spots, as he said.
"Even though there's a sword stuck inside" The quests in Legion explained pretty clearly that giving up the artifacts was to make the sword inert. No idea why people keep bringing up the sword that was rendered harmless in the same expansion it was stabbed into Azeroth. I mean, I do know why but saying it would be rude.

Only getting WOW stuff through these videos ... Alexstrasza keeps on getting referred to as a false queen. Does that imply there should be no queen, or another queen to be had? Also has Magatha ever been in the same room as a dragon. Any color. I'm not saying another black dragon would pull a Lady Katrana. Not black. Please blizzard writers not another black dragon.
Daily reminder that the deity that nelves simp for could one shot any villain including Sargeras/archimonde/sylvanas/xavius but she doesn't because nelves are foolish simps

Magatha Grimtotem is like Gul’dan but she’s a Shaman instead of a Warlock…
He was a Shaman at one point too, so maybe she's the next to be corrupted by some cosmic force and class swaps.
