He might not have needed the gauntlet for control, but he needed it for his personality/mind
Ever since game of thrones I no longer like dragons with arms, legs AND wings. What wow depicts as protodragons or in general is often depicted as Wyvern is what makes most sense. Dragons with legs and their arms being their wings. Now that I think about it Protodragons suck too because of their tiny t-Rex arms.
You’re entitled to your opinion, but I whole heartedly disagree. Dragons with 4 legs and 2 wings are much cooler in my opinion. It gives them much better mobility and utility. Up until Game of Thrones, that’s how most dragons were depicted.

They’re just as fantasy as the 4 legged dragon… A dragon with 4 legs and 2 wings would easily beat a 2 winged 2 legged dragon in a fight outside of there being a massive size difference. They also move much less awkwardly on the ground, and look much more majestic on the ground and in flight.

What if they have not been killed but spread across the timeways to have an eye everywhere? In my book they are a potential candidate for aiding Nozdormu in the future as his army.
I brought a Dracthyr weyrn that were timelost in the game to my DnD group (Basically they had a Bronze Dragon Mentor, and had forewarning to the Stasis, and were trapped into a Time loop)
Sundered Flame did nothing wrong :)) If you where lied and imprisoned for 10k years, would you still want to serv the flights who did not moved one finger to help you? Doubt it
Gonna be honest, Raszageth is probably the weakest and most boring villain they've thought up, she's basically diet zero calorie Deathwing without the backstory or charm. But maybe that's the point, by having a lackluster villain that isn't making much impact on the story, it allows growth in other ways, no focused on the big bad as much this time round, just an annoyance we forget about right after she shows up.

so why, if creating dragonkin that can wield the power of all 5 flights was successfully created, then why is chromatis so special? I hate the lore of this new race. Frozen in stone by a magic spell for ten thousand years.
Now here in Dalaran, the spell has broken and WE LIVE AGAIN!
We ARE defenders of the night. We ARE Dracthyr!
I honestly believe Deathwing is still alive/or will be resurrected and will make a return in Dragonflight. He was not in Shadowlands, so now would be the time for a come back.
We didn't saw barely nobody on the shadow lands and doesn't means it's alive. Did you spoke with varían spirit?
Happy DF eve everyone
nobbel is wow dragonfilght is coming out on novembor 28 2022 tomorrow
I'm confused. The Elementals were on the side of the Black Empire, weren't they? Feel like they should've sided with Razegeth, not with him...
If I recall correctly, the elements were enslaved to fight for the black empire, so not necessarily
I always figured the dragons were holding back focused more on defending themselves than really killing their friends
goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
What happened to them ? they got freeze and forgot how to use a polearm ? they are warriors an now ranged Dps/healers ? Nobody noticed this on their team ? Fix this by making Warriors available to them !
dracthry frankenstein zombies would be freaky like their made from random colored dead dracthry body parts put back together in a bio creater machine in a mold being put back together a mad doctor forsaken made the bio creater mold machine
Maybe I'm not understanding right, but do we know why Neltharion needed the bracelet to control the Dracthyr? Weren't they loyal to him at the first place? It just doesn't make sense to me as why he'd need that kind of power if they were loyal already.
THis is personal interpetation; i think we can find the answer with the same reason why he locked them away when he lost his gauntlet/control. The dracthyr would have been loyal to him, but he didn't trust that. The whispers of the old gods were already going, making him paranoid, trusting no one but himself. He might not have needed the gauntlet for control, but he needed it for his personality/mind
They needed a reason why they were locked away until now with no mention and not be a menace like most locked away things.
@@RadialNoah well most western dragons, the eastern ones don’t even have wings
@@DragonLordNight I’m from western society, so I will continue to associate dragons with my own culture, but thanks.
@@RadialNoah Check our the HotD design of Caraxes and tell me it looks better than the basic casual dragons from WoW.
As GRRM put it his dragons are more Sci-Fi cause thats "if" Dragons could develop how they most likely would look like. I understand the fantasy approach and dragons like Ancalagon are aweomse but I never again will like Dragons with 6 appendiges.
@@ViewTube_Emperor_of_Mankind I’ve seen HotD. I don’t think World of Warcraft is the best example of dragons either. I still don’t prefer the wyvern style of dragon.
“If dragons could develop”, lol. Nothing that big is flying, let alone breathing fire hot enough to melt stone. Let’s not use “realism” as a factor here. They’re just as fantasy as the 4 legged dragon…
A dragon with 4 legs and 2 wings would easily beat a 2 winged 2 legged dragon in a fight outside of there being a massive size difference. They also move much less awkwardly on the ground, and look much more majestic on the ground and in flight.
just an FYI there are some books in the azure archives (above the blue oathstone) where it details the story of malygos making the stasis spell and why neltharion asked him to do it
Night Elf Nation
I just want these stupid things to get visages that aren't elves they can't even use horde armor in the female form cause it's based originally on a human but when I first saw it I mistook it as a belf
And it's just insulting we have ebon horn as their representative who is allowed to not be an elf
the fuck? Is the dragon really called Cinder Trash? lulw
*ethereal woosh* 😁
As far as I have understood it is the "secret service" of the dracthyr that "unfortunately" has only one surviving member...
Sundered Flame did nothing wrong :))
If you where lied and imprisoned for 10k years, would you still want to serv the flights who did not moved one finger to help you? Doubt it
Gonna be honest, Raszageth is probably the weakest and most boring villain they've thought up, she's basically diet zero calorie Deathwing without the backstory or charm.
But maybe that's the point, by having a lackluster villain that isn't making much impact on the story, it allows growth in other ways, no focused on the big bad as much this time round, just an annoyance we forget about right after she shows up.
Oh god, not the damn Grimtotem again! Why haven't they been destroyed yet?
I find it really silly that dragon visage are all about choosing what you want to look like and the players can't choose anything, you have to take the ugly ass garbage elv-ish models. Why can't I be a tauren as my visage?
Totally, I wish you could choose any race from your faction as visage form. Maybe adding some extra appearance options like horns, scales...
Why Dractyr not get humanoid form?
Visage form is humanoid. They're scaly worgen basically.

In wow lore drakes are totally useless, Nozdormu as time aspect? Did he ever turn back time when shit happened? No. Life Aspect... Did she use her power to turn back someone alive? Malygos totally useless....
so why, if creating dragonkin that can wield the power of all 5 flights was successfully created, then why is chromatis so special? I hate the lore of this new race. It's lazily written for the sake of a new playable character and it's insulting to anyone that have actually consumed and cared about the lore of this game. What about Krassus? Sinestra? Nefarian? dw about all of them they don't matter. Chromatic dragon's? dw about those they're under the rug now, just bin 15 years of developing the history to this universe. I'd have been happier with Naga as the new race.
it's soooo bad...
the story of lgbtqxyz lizard... so far
Why the fuck they still haven’t gotten the ability to make good cutscenes? NPCs don’t walk right.. mount movement doesn’t fit.. no unique emotes.. I really hoped after FF14 success they would push that department and strive towards improving quest cutscene cinematography
I don't like the Retcon so far painting the titans as evil. It just doesn't go with established lore and feels like it's trying to weaken the titan's story to play up the old ones more and more as their replacements. But I guess we'll see where this story goes in the end.
Not "evil", they simply embody Order and its their top priority to stomp out excessive chaos like the Void Lords, Old Gods and in turn Elemental Lords (Ragnaros, Alakir, Neptulon etc).
