For users based in the TROPICS... unless you're storing yours in a climate controlled environment then your ambient temperature and humidity is at odds with the warranty specs. I have stowed mine as follows: * Mask (with 'head mesh' pulled inside out to help protect the visor and facilitate instant donning) + 20g silica gel packet to keep it dry in a sturdy ziplock * Ziplock and canteen are stowed in a 10L PVC roll-top drybag to protect the ziplock (if the S ever does HTF I'm sure I'll find a use for the drybag!), with the canteen at the bottom to further protect the mask * Drybag is stowed in the drop-leg bag. Reckon the humidity will likely corrode the bag's inner surface in a few years... ask me in 5 years 😉 * Bag is stowed at ambient room temperature/humidity out of reach from sunlight. A Catch22 of course... getting it out swiftly is hampered vs. just leaving the mask directly in the drop-leg bag then in a few years time, actually needing it and finding it compromised. Thoughts anyone?
I own the older CM-6M from Mira which was a 5 point harness mask, its been a solid choice however if I had to purchase a mask again I would likely go for a more budget friendly option. Cost is at least $263.99 (and then there's all the other accessories you might want need.) Note if you have glasses like much of the population you will need another about $200 for the Spectical Kit
Afternoon All. @ 1:20 a Camelbak bladder is mentioned. Does anyone have further info on that? Couldn't readily find anything on the Camelbak website. I already use a Mil Spec Crux 3L Short Reservoir. That's not what is implied, is it?
