Not bad at all very nice.But it only gets 3 stars out of 5 .No room or area for dining...that sucks .but overall not bad

Almost 2800sq ft but no dining area? So you're essentially limited to the kitchen island and 4 people? That seems off to me but it does look nice.

Love it all! The only thing I’d add is a half bath.
I would add a tub sink in the laundry room. My stainless steel one has held up well for 35 years.

It’s beautiful, but a few things that don’t work for me is, maybe I’m alone on this, but I can’t stand fireplaces. You only are using them for part of the year, but if you live somewhere hot you ain’t ever using it. To add to that I can’t stand the tv over the fireplace. Also with the size of that house and what it probably cost where’s the dining room? We suppose to sit at the bar every time we eat?😂 It’s beautiful but with some tweaking it could be perfect.

Talk about a boring design. it looks like a military barrack. No style at all on the outside. Also its not recommended to place a tv above a fireplace. I bet the floors are super cold in the winter. Plus the sound must bounce everywhere from the echo

What is the cost to build this? It is exactly what we are looking for.
From research I've been doing down in San Antonio, 200-250 per sqrft is where they are at for a dolly finished it building. Really not much different than a normal house.

What I always expect from a barn house is open space… very open. This didnt deliver the extraordinary difference from a regular home.
But the beauty of the barndo is you can do whatever you want inside. This is still pretty open in the main living area.

You could always just build a barn house, not put any walls up and put your furniture in there. No need to put walls for the bathroom. Now that is open concept!
You’re looking for a true barn style house. With 20+ foot ceilings. This is a ranch style house with a barn shape. But not barn size.

It seems to be about 29 per square foot in PA. My wife and I have land already, but the more I look at these the more it seems to be more expensive then we originally thought.

is the garage sqft included in 2740 ?
I beleive the Garage is an extra 1104 sq ft based on the floor plan blueprint.

Nicely done and the attic access was a nice touch. We have 2 separate attics and one is through the ceiling of the entry closet so has to be emptied and with the slope need to shimmy in. Since one central heat is in that space, it isn’t convenient to get to. The other is over our garage and does have drop down stairs, but can’t have anything under it. The permanent staircase is sturdy and the space underneath can be utilized without disruption. The floor plan is well laid out with nice sized spaces. It is nice to have the back door in the garage and through the mud room.

This is my favorite house plane that I’ve seen if I buy the package does that come with the room the sides and everything ?? What about windows ?
The kits traditionally just come with the steel exterior. We can provide a list to order from on your interior, as its usually much more cost effective to buy lumber locally with our takeoff.
Beautiful, but where would the dining table go? We have lots of family dinners together and celebrations with extended friends and family also, so only having a kitchen bar wouldn’t cut it for us. Do you offer a dining room option, by any chance?
Beautiful home. I am home shopping these days and am looking for a Barndominium specifically. I am very interested in the Sikes Kit that 1845 Barndominiums offers. I am though having a hard time getting a estimate on the cost of the kit. Is there someone I could talk to on that?
Over all a nice home but wouldn't want a Black roof guessing the attic is insulated very well and wouldn't want the light carpet rather it be hardwood flooring but also thru out the home as concrete floors to much of a garage type floor. Also one bedroom short as most 4 bedroom homes that size have at least 2 1/2 -3 baths but people chose what they wanted.
Almost perfect. I hate that these bardos keep putting the office in an inconvenient spot, or make the tiny. In this case, the office is between the kitchen and laundry room, and on the other side of the laundry, is the garage. So it's a major through-way. As a person who works from home, I prefer an office near the size of the master bedroom and near the main entrance of the house. (Be able to see out the window to see who's coming up the driveway.)

I would have to have another bathroom & more linen storage, but this is still beautiful. Personally, I would gladly sacrifice a little 'master' area than have too few bathrooms.

Nobody ever talks about the water heater in new homes - why is that? Does this home have 1. hot water on demand type heater? 2. one large 100 gal. water heater or 3. two 100 gallon water heaters due to having 5 people living here? An inquiring mind wants to know. Thanks.
The home has an gas tankless water heater.
Gorgeous house, but I will be so glad when this tombstone grey from floor to ceiling, colour fad is done with, im so over it now i wont even go see a house that has every room in grey because all Im thinking is how much will i have to pay to get this fixed before I can even move in lol.
