Passive income has become very important in recent years. there are still great stocks on the market with big room for growth, and consistent investors with a steady approach should be able to seize opportunities created by the uncertainty.
It’s a good idea to have a back up plan to earn money from especially during this time when the future is uncertain.
I could readily tick off a list of stocks that I'd consider buying. Several of them would be healthcare and tech stocks that have the potential to generate strong growth.

Currently a 19 year old full time student for biochemistry and worker. I can’t do the 5-1 ratio for college because... it’s college lol. But because of these videos I was able to get a job and due to my scholarships I only pay 7k a year at university. But I do a 3-1 and invest 21k into assets and put the rest in school. Especially now I have no needs for shoes or cars or better food. These videos are a great boost to my mental because none of my friends think my investing is a good idea, so it’s nice to hear people who think along my lines.
You have a big advantage starting out young. I wish I had started investing young like you. You will be far ahead of your friends! I also make videos to help people learn more about investing, maybe you'll find them useful.

You should learn trig, it's not like you're learning calculus. Regardless if you use it everyday it is a VERY basic math skill we should all learn. They should have financial literacy classes added on top of the basic curriculum

We talk a lot about "side hustling" and multiple income streams, but let's face it, your day job is, most likely, your number one source of income. This is what most likely pays your bills and keeps food on the table.
For me I’d consider my “day job” my freelance income. Even though I’m self-employed, I view certain income streams as the ones that pay my bills and others are goal money or fun money.

i think owning rental properties is not for the faint of heart. you have to be able to plan for vacancies, repairs, and deal with renters. while i haven’t completely ruled out owning rental properties is that i’m not sure that i’d want to deal with tenants. i’d ideally use a property management service to handle this for me. however, this could still be a great way for you to diversify your income.
@@robertmoore50 Well when ever you diversify your income go back and think about the basic personal finance equation: Income - Expenses = Savings. You can only cut so many expenses, but you can boost your income to limitless potential.

The means we have at hand to stay strong is to embrace investment plans and trading plans. Do what is best for you and for your future. Don't waste your precious time waiting and depending on the government, unlike what I saw in stimulus video here on UA-cam where lots of people are ignorantly waiting for stimulus check. There might be so many investments out there but if profits must be considered which is actually the sole aim of every investment then I'll advice you go into Forex trading because it has a higher profit rate than most investments out there.

I would be terrible in dealing with renters issues. That is why I buy REITs. I have SPG.

@** REIT is ordinary income tax, NOT Capital gains like most dividends. REIT is only great on Roth IRA since you remove income tax completely.
It's a recession, there are blue chip stocks out there that yields the same as REIT. Best Example is OKE which gives more Dividends than REIT but is on capital gains.
OKE is currently 1/3 of its original price before the market crash, and kept paying dividends till now.

As much as I loved my returns on residential real estate, dealing with tenants and repairs is far from passive at times.

I've not once dealt with a tenant or repair I have no idea who is even living at any of my locations. Get a good property management company it is def worth the cost. All I ever get is a call saying we need to take so much from escrow to fix this or that
This is so true! I have a couple of rentals and they can be a pain!
Property managers.
I would much rather invest in a REIT. It's more liquid and I don't have to deal with the added expenses of hiring a property management company.

Some REITs pay out MONTHLY. Put that on a DRIP and over time you can eventually replace your paycheck.
I'm curious about this. At what investment amount would this start to occur? I'm working a job right now and would love to eventually replace my paycheck or at the least augment it. Thank you!
@@OtherDalfite at 5-6% yields I estimate at around 1.5 million dollars in shares you would get dividends kicking back about 70k / year. Which if you live modestly sets you up for life without a job. Doable over time. It's real estate without being a land lord.
