The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. $52k dividends received in 2022.

I agree! That's why it is advisable that you have to invest while you still have a regular job or earning a regular income, and do it constantly. You still need to have something that will keep you going even if you're investing. Good financial planning and money allocation is the key.

The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

Money makes you more of what you already are as Dave Ramsey says. But money and having plenty of it takes one huge stress out of your world. Especially when your money is working as you sleep and pours in no matter what on a monthly basis. My passive income is much more then what I need and I literally have to reinvest it and at least 30-40 % on a monthly basis. I saved hard when I was young I worked as much o.t. When I was young to save. Then once I learned how to actually invest wow that change my life. Now it’s like a snowball that can’t be stopped no matter what mr market does thanks to my FA Emily Lois Parker.

Strategic investment is important. My ideal investment is a varied portfolio that includes stocks, bonds, and ETFs. It gives excellent long-term return and has performed admirably thus far, with the assistance of an FA on the side. 10xing my portfolio in a few years does not seem too far-fetched to me.

Before you start investing, it's crucial to understand the basics of investing, different asset classes (stocks, bonds, real estate, etc.) and the associated risks. Are you investing for retirement, buying a home, or building an emergency fund? Your goals will help shape your investment strategy.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Diversification means spreading your investments across different asset classes (stocks, bonds, real estate) and within those classes (different companies or industries). This helps reduce risk.

if you're unsure about your investment choices or need personalised guidance, consider consulting with a financial advisor. They can help create a tailored investment plan.
Patience is key to successful investing. Over time, compound interest can grow your investments significantly, but it takes time to see substantial gains.

the problem with being frugal is planned obsolescence. per example you have for 20.000 $ of electronic devices who goes obsolete each 10 years, that means you have to spend 2.000 $ per year for maintenance. it's like a car. it worth 25.000 $ on year one, 12.500 year 4, and near 0.000 year 8. so having a car in this example costs 3.125 $ per year, because you need to spend 25.000 $ to buy a new one each 8 years. so the less technology you have in your life, the richer you will be.

For us in Europe it's completely normal the we as employees and our employers contribute a certain percentage of our income to our retirement fund, next to the fact that we have a working healthcare system.

Love it! I don’t make UA-cam videos, but I do all of the rest! Being frugal, 401k match, high yield checking and savings accounts, investing in index funds, and making some dividends (which we auto-reinvest). Another thing I like to do that’s mostly passive is receipt scanning. I make about $250/year just snapping my receipts or giving these apps access to my inbox receipts. Also my work offers $75/quarter for your health data meaning my Apple Watch paid for itself in under a year and the last 2 years has been making me $300/year by granting my work (medical campus) access to my health data via the watch.

2/10% split contribution for retirement is absolutely nuts. Maybe this is common in the states, but not here in Canada. That said, I've seen 5% match and 3% stocks. So, 8% total. You have to match the 5% though.

I like your videos, and I subscribe. I do not feel comfortable getting money for doing no work unless it was some kind of UBI, since everyone would get it from corporate taxes used to develop a better society. Somebody who does work is losing out when profits go to shareholders, and that is not good for society or anyone. Worker owned coops, where profits are shared or reinvested in the company if the workers choose, are something I feel better about.

  • @michalk2497
    @michalk2497 8 місяців тому

I found some more passive income:
Generally all the videos mention those and the same ways of passive income, here are others in my opinion:
    - selling everything I no longer need. Do I have an old watch that doesn't work? I'm selling. 10-year-old TV? Get rid of it immediately. I don't need the MMA protectors ? I'm selling. It's not income per se, but I have at least some of what I don't use. This makes me about $1,000 a year.
    - being on the board of the HOA/ paid public positions in your community or town that nobody really wants to do. It's a little bit of money, and you have to work a little bit, but it's extra money. Warning: these positions are usually held by very toxic and incompetent people, so don't promise anything until you officially get the position, and be prepared to fight/resign quickly.
As far as the ETFs are concerned - yes it is passive by definition but at the price of risk, if you need the money, the investment may not do well and you may end up in loss.

None of your mentioned ideas are count as passive income, investment doesn’t count as a passive income, nor is spending less.
They’re just some good ideas about saving

My passive income is at least $4k a month from investments. My expenses are at most $2k a month on average. I'm not doing any work at all. The market can change, and expenses can change so the future is never guaranteed, but odds are I needn't ever worry about money. Of course I worry about everything, and money is no exception.

Passive income comes in the name of OX! You're able to mine your own assets with the use of your phone and your own features is what sets you apart from others. Your likes and dislikes. Your preferences. It's amazing! Don't miss out on this!

Amazing video, we all truly have been poorly educated about passive income, I focus on AirBnB investing without banks, I would love to do a collaboration video with you, I think our ideas could really cross pollinate!

That's an exciting journey you're sharing! While your path may be different from my Airbnb investing strategy, the principles of financial freedom and smart investments remain universal. We run a faith-based channel that focuses on AirBnB rentals as passive income and believe our content aligns well with your audience. Let's explore collaboration opportunities that resonate with both our communities.

Our nieces and nephews are good kids and will inherit what is left. We put money aside for nursing home care and life insurance. By the time we need that money, it will be there. We don't live frugally in order to piss it all away one day. We live frugally so that if we need it someday, it is there, and if we don't, they will receive it. We have categories of savings and investing including life insurance and senior care. We have a sizable chunk of cash in those categories. My husband is well aware I'm doing this. We live comfortably, not extravagantly because we are intelligent with our money.

I've been researching investment brokers and I'm really interested in working with someone trustworthy and reliable. With the recent market downturn I'm looking for a broker who can help me turn things around and make a profit Can anyone tell me about their experiences with any investment advisor..

I can vouch for Dustin Dwain King as well. I was skeptical at first, but I followed his advice, and within the first 6 months, I made around $380k. His strategies are solid, and he's been reliable.

I can confirm that Dustin Dwain King is a reputable investment broker. I started with him during a tough market period, and thanks to his guidance, I made over $150k within the first 6 months. He's definitely worth considering.
