- This is the Abcindens Heavy Battleship Steam workshop blueprint for Space Engineers! A giant cruiser to fly around and blast your enemies with its many turrets and custom weapons. I go over this ships looks and features such as the deplorable drones, moving armored plate, giant hangers and more! I then take you on a tour of the interior and how off whats inside and end this showcase with a small epic battle.... sort of :P

@@victorfrankenstein8005 if they remove the self destruction ability I wouldn't want spy's sneaking in and blowing up my super expensive ship
I honestly think that would be more for a spec ops team rather than a spy plus I would think doing that would actually blow up pretty significant intel as most spies seek to take hidden information but I still feel your point I wouldn't want to have bombs across the ship ready to blow the entire ship up at little more than a press of a button but stuff like this would have huge security measures before It could happen much like a nuke launch protocol for today
One of my favorite mods for this game is the huge gyro mod, which, if I recall, is equal to 500 standard gyros each, and the tier hydro thrusters, which can be either to add more thruster % or more efficiency for the thruster, depending which path you choose. The power added thrusters are something like 20x as powerful as a vanilla thruster, so getting a giant armored battleship to move nimby for combat is possible, though costly.(it uses fuel SO FAST)

@@thevoiceofreason937 Cheat "codes"? That term is irrelevant, since the game was specifically written to use mods, and also, it's not cheating in the first place, since everyone playing on the server gets the same mod, so one player is not gaining any advantages unfairly over anyone else. Player created mods are nothing more than improvements that the original game makers failed to do. Especially in terms of adding more realism, such as increasing maximum velocity in space.
@@AmericanThunder na personally and to many others mods are not intended and just spoil the game. If you want a more realistic game there's loads out there. The charm of a game is in the developers vision and all areas of its original or dlc content condition. Just adding the ability to have 500 times more powerful gyros or move faster ect just seems cheap. The charm of a game is playing it within its own constraints. Any achievement gained from moddong a games ability aftermarket away from the developers removes any acheiment of anything gained there forward
@@thevoiceofreason937 I already played the game in vanilla for 2000+ hours, after that, the charm wore off, and became tedious. I spent most of my time in single player mode, frankly because I'm not very social either. lol But as I played more, I wanted to design and test larger armor designs, and after you reach a point in the vanilla version, you can't go too massive or the basic engines and gyros are useless. If I wanted to drive something that slow, I'd buy a Prius. lol Slow sucks.

@@Exinity well i want to start off with the positive and say it looks beautiful on the outside but there are some unguarded spots at the bottom where the hydrogen engines are where hydrogen men could get and cause a lot of damage. i love the idea of the armor part that slides back revealing some of the guts of the ship so you can do repairs and stuff. i actually think the interior looks fine though confusing af.
@@Exinity There are a number of major design flaws. One, the custom turrets on the outside are standard small ship rocket launchers, not reloadable rocket launchers. This means they get 4 shots and they're done. Functionally worthless. Second, they're using the Mouse-Aimed Rotor Turret script, not Whip's Turret AI Slaving script or the Diamond Dome Defense Script which would make them work automatically. Third, on the interior, those doors at the side depressurize the entire bridge area. This is a massive boneheaded move, as you should never be depressurizing crew work areas in normal operations. That's just bad form. Fourth, using a timer to close the doors, not a script; if you're already using scripts, you may as well use a proper airlock script. Fifth, the large lateral thrusters nested on the underside will eventually destroy themselves. Lastly, that exposed crap on the sides that doesn't do anything but look cool. Totally unnecessary in a warship; it doesn't look cool, it looks like the builder wasn't committed to building a good ship.
Also, even the DLC version doesn't actually really use the DLC well. It's still using the awful vanilla stairs and catwalks everywhere that make navigating the interior awkward.
@@WardenWolf Not entirely correct, but thanks for the feedback. Yes, it is non-reloadable small ship rocket launchers that can only hold a small number of rockets at a time. This is a problem for survival but realistically, not one would be crazy enough to build such a large ship in survival. Second, I have the Mouse-Aimed Rotor Turret script installed (turned off) if people want to use it, but I am using Rdavs Easy Auto Turret Script. Your statement about the bridge area if correct, but I found the hangar doors to be more visually pleasing and offers more protection than any door. I also used timer blocks to reduce lag instead of a script. But this "Fifth" kinda pisses me of. NO IT DOES NOT DESTROY ITSELF. At last, what you call "Exposed crap" makes repairs possible in that area while having protection.
Im not going to be a bitch and say stuff like "oh, you cant build anything better yourself", because thats just not cool. I appreciate the feedback, but when you come looking for bad things about my ship, bad things you will find. If you looked for good things, a lot more things you would find. Try to look more at the bright side, and you will appreciate the ship like 7500 other people have.

i need to rebuild my drill ship and publish it. been very helpful for my last big playthrough.
When the ship exploded I expected a Spaceballs style explosion where the entire thing is just gone and you have to use the escape pods

Exterior design is without a doubt 10/10 but considering the size and how slow it is there is nowhere near enough weapons to defend itself. Added to that fact is the use of manually reloaded rocket launchers for most of the custom turrets which of course isn't really practical. I do like the interior but with the amount of free space to play with I see a lot of room for improvement. Also don't really understand why you would have to jump onto the stairs instead of using a 1x1x1 ramp. Lot of negativity I know but I still really enjoyed this ship

I got this ship apart from lagging my poor pc constantly it is a really tough ship (my pc can't run scripts well)

It is a very good try but need 10 weapons at nose of ship , at bottom need 10 weapons and near thrusters 10 weapons , if can hold 5 medum spaceships to help deafening the ship will be good
