That's not only a cool fact but also totally wrong! And it's so easy to disproof aswell: HOW TF WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT PARAMETERS TO FEED INTO THE SIMULATOR WITHOUT KNOWING HOW THE CAR DRIVES BEFOREHAND.
Ser, parameters are set by inputting the car’s exact geometry into the simulation. It doesn’t need a real world telemetry firsthand because it’s a simulator that replicates real world physics. That’s why it’s called a simulator and not an imitator. Some independent manufacturers use this method to save development cost, i.e. (famously) Koenigsegg to design their chassis.
Don't get me wrong... the new bmws are nice if you intend to keep them stock...and just want a nice interior and tech...but if your more into performance...while bmw is nice....Mercedes is still on top...for instance... Twinturbo power... compare the engine specs between the two... and the aesthetic.... such as sound and basic performance... turbo spool and bov... but if your into performance your better off going with a bmw from before 2014
Fun fact: the facelift 3 series will get this exact same screen inside

Lol, even the wide screen Tesla is already bad bcz how it's really distracting
Saw it on the iaa a few weeks ago and its awesome! way more responsive than the new s class displays and fits perfectly onto the dashboard!
Disappointing. These types of dashboards look awful. Tesla, new Mercedes interiors, absolutely awful.
"Engineer monitor all aspects so everything work well"
Car:fell off from a cliff
The actual car:barrel roll
They also, like ever other major manufacturer use extensive real world testing.
I cannot comprehend how this is actually useful.
It is to test some parts (virtually) to see if they would work on the road, and if it does, it would be tested on a real road.
To be able to test every possible scenario and saving time while doing it ?

They still do the Wet Weather Testing. Nobody can resist going sideways in a 3 Series
Right on that 😂👌
I bet even that one breaks down regularly
Lol
Do you know what would be cool?
if BMWs didn't consume oil like a Construction worker consume Beer on a Friday
Fun fact: you miss the legacy 6 cylinder humming through the cabin
Lol I was waiting for them to floor the car so I can see how the simulator reacts 😅😁
Me:see the sim
My mind:cars 3
It reminds me of Cars 3. Lightning McQueen racing on the simulator.

I would love to play forza horizon and flip my car multiple times
Nice, a place to practice tailgating and not using turn signals
This is sim racing in a whole new level
REMINDS ME OF CARS 3 MOVIE!!!!!!!
This is not what BMW uses to do car development
The ultimate drift simulator
Imagine if they crash the car
Hydraulics: *YEET*
Now this is a Dream Build for me 😂😂
Best racing gaming rig
Imagine crashing into a wall at 200km/h with this
All jokes aside until you crash and the hydraulics do their thing 😂😂😂
Drift on this was insane
that's where bmw owners can practice cutting people off and not using their turn signals
I wish they add ray tracing to the background
Ultimate racing sim setup
$100,000
Need the charger simulator to run into fuccin crowds
Cars 3 movie all over again 😂
Imagine playing beamng drive in that
oh god oh no
Death

It's all fun and games till he hits the speed bumps
The should have made Lighting mcqueen the car that sits up there. lol
FLOOR IT
I gotts get myself a racing game simulator like this
POV: you’re in the cars 3 world
Life’s a simulation
Me:*uses turn signal*
Simulator crashes
Woah lightning slow down your not ready
Reminds me of Jackson Storm... 🤭
Me crashing into everything!

By having the detailed 3d model of the car maybe? Also data from wind tunnels and simulations in physics engines

Good to see that even BMW themselfs dont use blinkers

Wait until you crash and the airbags go off irl
That would be great for taking your drivers exam
Cars 3 in real life
It drives to smooth for an American road
If I was playing my favourite racing game like this then it wouldn’t be in a bmw
Looks kool but has no was of simulating forward motion. Like when you slam on the gas and feel pulled into the seat
I see that windows desktop with the default layout. Recycle bin in top left

This is called german quality.
Not useful at all but for a racing video game THIS IS FUCKING SWEEEEEEET!!!!!
Imagine playing asphalt 9 with this thing
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That’s why it doesn’t have a handbrake
all of this tech and engineering, but their customer still cannot use blinkers
😎
now I know why these cars are less reliable
I must try it
I’d pull a lLightning McQueen and crash through the screen, but I guess that’s why they took the tires off
im about to speed with the car lol
Why don’t they get an actual game designer for the graphics? It seems like high end simulator graphics are always shit
I want to drive it🥰😘😍🤩
♥️
It’s not a real BMW simulation unless the check engine light is on
😍🥰😘
Bavarian Idea
Just drive a car outside like normal at that point
Cars 3 IRL
*Laughing in forza*

Or, orr.. now stay with me here.. they could make a prototype and actually drive it around to test the vehicle’s suspension and actual handling?
They do it after this
*Lightning McQueen would like to know your location*
If it doesnt break down every 50miles and the oil light doesnt come on every day its not very realistic
How do you know games could support this type if control lmao
And Bmw do not cares about the real drive experience huhh???
A false short man A fake short😑
Cars 3 anyone?
Ага симулятор... была бы она на пневмоподвеске, то был бы симулятор
Does it also simulate what it’s like sitting at the mechanic shop?
Cars 3
how does this help with wet weather testing?? bro you PROGRAMMED the simulator, it will show you what you told it to show you
All they prolly cost more than the car itself
Can I crash on it "for science"
