This is one of the videos in life which teaches us that no matter what we think we are facing, we should always be grateful. This is a lady that went through thick and thin, but look at her!...I love the way she smiles. You are a wonderful lady and an inspiration to all.

Lewis and Amy THANK YOU! I really needed this today. Last week my ex was sentenced for beating me unconscious in my family home that he was living in for free. I'm in the middle of more testing because my doctors believe I have trauma induced MS from my other ex (& him) who broke into my apartment after I dumped her by pushing the air conditioner in which hit me on the head. For years I was in denial of how bad my health was and just tried to push through. I ended up still having to move in with my parents- he pretended to care and wanted to "help" me. But really ended up almost killing me from his abuse. Last week in court it was surreal- now I just want to find a way to start my life again. After watching this it really helped me, I don't think I will ever be snowboarding again (I was never that great anyways lol) but I want to start up my UA-cam channel again TODAY. Not next week or later. I've been depressed for too many months. Thank you!! I ❤️❤️❤️ everything about this!

Lewis you always bring the most amazing people on here thank you for doing all that you do. And Amy thank you for further inspiring me to tell my own story and share the truth of my experience and how I can overcome any emotional or physical issues I am having if I just do it. I've been really scared about facing MS, losing the ability to walk or move well has been really de estuarine for me and if you can face what you did then I can too! I decided while watching this I will be working on talking about my story starting now. ❤️

What an amazing story! At the age of 15, I contracted meningitis, mine was viral spinal meningitis though, but such an interesting perspective to hear another person talk about their experience Thankfully, mine was not nearly this severe. What a wonderful story she has of overcoming such an ordeal!

Thank you for sharing this. It did something very valuable for me. Actually I found confidence while watching this. I have severe chronic fatigue and severe trauma and so much fear. And have low confidence but I am so strong. I am following my dreams despite of all fear very low energy and low confidence. Nothing stops me anymore. I learned I can do everything I want. I just have to do it. Despite and because of everything. And by seeing her and appreciating here and seeing myself in her something clicked in my mind. And now I want to tell my story more and become an example.

About that supernatural experience she had: Interestingly enough in Oriental spirituality green is the color of the heart chakra, which is the center of love, I find that really fascinating that she said she believed in love right before she had that experience. Also, doctors know that when the conscious mind is out, the unconscious becomes superactive, it's like being in a super heightened state of hypnosis, and so they know they can directly talk to the subconscious of their patients when they're under. It's gotta make you wonder about what consciousness is and what we're actually made of eh?

Step by step description in full detail of losing her spleen, legs & how to recover from it... surreal & extraordinary interview. No wonder she pipped you for $25,000.

Amy Purdy has the most loving father mother sister and extended family....i think it is unfair to call her the most inspirational person because there are millions of women who are amazingly inspirational who don't do it for a brand or business!!!

Jojo Jo coming from her extended family (me) she does not do it for her business, her NON PROFIT organization, she started that business when she was poor living from pay check to pay check, she does not do it for a business she does it help and show other people with disabilities how to have fun. She may not be the most inspiring person in the world in your opinion but she does not do it for a business she does it to help others like her fun.

Love the story and how she overcame the challenges. I just think you made him feel uncomfortable many times saying OMG OMG after everything she said, specially when she was talking about her blue feet and then having to cut his legs. You definitely didn't make it easier for her. You make her feel uncomfortable all the time to the point that she even said this story is not for people who cannot stand blood or surgeries (or something similar)... and you didn't get it and continue making everything more stressful for her.... sorry but I have to say it.
