She was named the youngest self-made female billionaire in America.
Married to Jesse Itzler in 2008 and have 4 kids.

Why do people always assume the rich are snobby, arrogant, elitists? Most are just regular people.

After watching this I have an overwhelming feeling that my life is going to change forever. Sara is such a beautiful person and she's given me the push I was looking for to completely dive in to my business with feminine energy from now on. I now have certainty that as long as I keep my vision strong, realise what's important and trust my intuition, I'm golden. Business should not be war. Business should be about making a REAL impact. Something I strive for every day.
My favourite so far, she's an incredible hustler... the part where she goes and buys her own products made me laugh also the way her father taught failure is super interesting.
I LOVE this woman! She is such an inspiration to me! Because of this interview, I spent the past 2 hours watching as many interviews as I could of her just to soak up more of her wisdom

I didn't have too much initial interest but when she said that she was 27 when she first created the idea I was hooked for the rest of this talk. I turn 27 this week and I have just started writing a book to help others. It's something so small but that little connection just filled me with a lot of hope for the future. Great show Lewis. Your consistency with content is inspiring!
I turn 27 next month and I was really inspired by that line too. I even wrote it down so I could look at it often. I've been gaining experience (for my future business) by beta reading manuscripts of aspiring writers for free, until I can confidentially start charging for my service. I'm a fast reader, writers enjoy my feedback, all I need to do is create the business and start marketing.
I'm working on a new tech business, I'm 27 too and still solo (just received my first client) while doing my masters in maths (applied to AI)
I will be encouraging my daughter to fail on a weekly basis from now on. Thank you for this interview! I can't believe it has taken me so long to discover Sara Blakely. Her hustle and attitude is what makes her one of my tribe!

I am alittle behind on the podcasts, but this is one of the best/ funniest interviews you've done. First off, I think Lewis and I would have been a great team in High School. I was a master cheater as well. From carving answers into number 2 pencils to stealing final exams - paying someone to take it - then sell it back to my fellow classmates... yeah, I was that guy.
Sara's story is super inspiring.. Her B2B hustle is amazing and can be applied to any profession out there. I almost spit out my coffee when you started in about the missing crotches LOL!!!

Sebastian Rivero One interview on Success magazine she says how she would listen to wayne dyer and other people all the time while driving. I also remember listening to a wayne dyer interview saying how he would also do that thing where he would talk to his kids about their failure instead of successes for the day. I think she said in the success interview her dad got her hooked on those self help tapes.

What an amazing woman! This was a really interesting, cool story, that she would not take no for an answer. Then do business the way she felt it should be done, and helping others along the way! One thing that really caught me I wish I had done with my daughter when she was growing up, was what her father did with her and her brother at the dinner table, asking them what they had failed at that day? What a great way to teach someone how to get out of their own way of fears and rejection to just go out and try and do something new. Very impressive gal, and Lewis you are one of the best interviewers out there, thanks!
