Dr. Christy you mention the difficulty in funding trials of drugs that are off-patent as to why Merck isn’t interested in doing trials with Ivermectin but there’s evidence that there’s other things at work. Kitasato University in Japan proposed to Merck that they would provide the facilities for such a trial but Merck turned them down. Adding to the intrigue is that in doing so Merck refused to have anything to do with the co-winner of the 2015 Nobel Prize in Medicine Satoshi Omura who was the one who discovered the rare bacteria from which Ivermectin was developed. Ask yourself as I have why a company would decline to work with a Nobel Prize winning scientist.

I’m no fan of Merck but you’re wrong about Molnupiravir being some sort of repackaged IVM. It’s an entirely different medication with an entirely different mode of action and that’s why safety concerns are valid. Messing with RNA/DNA replication, as some oncology drugs do, always causes issues because it’s a blunderbuss approach. These drugs hit our normal cells every bit as hard as they do the tumour cells. Suppression of immune function is a result and that’s not a good thing during any illness. To be fair Molnupiravir is given in a 5-day course of 2 pills/day so it’s not like taking a drug long term. Still when there’s a drug that head to head shows a fairly equal efficacy and it has an outstanding safety record during the 33 years of human use then I say that anyone who pays ~1,000 times as much as Ivermectin costs for Merck’s Molnupiravir needs their head looked at. By the way the comparison of costs is based on what governments would pay for the drugs. $700 for Molnupiravir and 53 cents for Ivermectin.

The OP said that Merck had repackaged IVM to charge $700 for a course which is false and I clearly rebutted that in an earlier reply. You can keep going on about bleach, Lysol, and for all I care the hemorrhoid cream you use to brush your teeth with but it doesn’t change the fact that IVM saves lives.

I can’t remember in which video it was but someone commented that they raised the issue of Ivermectin with their doctor and there was a very uncomfortable silence. In Ontario which is Canada’s most populous province doctors and pharmacists are not only forbidden to use IVM for anything other than parasites but also forbidden to make any comment contrary to the ‘party’ line and they’re subject to losing their license to practice if they violate these rules. So in the ‘true north and free’ doctors cannot use this safe medication for any off-label use and cannot even talk about it. So much for the ‘true’ and the ‘free’ in ‘true north and free’ eh? Other provinces have followed suit and more than half of Canada’s population are denied the use of IVM.

      @ That’s What “i” Said
Hi back and B.C. was the second province to do what Ontario did and then Alberta later joined the cabal. Alberta has a reputation as the most ‘free enterprise’ province in Canada so I was a bit taken aback when they followed suit. Some doctors in Ontario formed a group to fight the draconian suppression of not only IVM but the suppression of any talk contrary to the ‘party’ line. I came to this battle initially after watching an interview with Dr. Sunetra Gupta where she countered the growing narrative of lockdowns. She and 2 other Doctors penned ‘The Great Barrington Declaration’ which I and many others signed. They’ve been proved correct. Dr. Suneel Dhand is a lifestyle medicine practitioner and has been vocal about obesity being such a risk factor for not only getting the disease but having much more severe symptoms. Being obese, as I am but I’m now finally doing something about it, places strain on the lungs which is not a good thing when a respiratory virus hits. Suneel uploaded a video recently looking at a study where 90% of the children that have severe C19 were obese.
On a separate note my blood boils when Dr. Bonnie Henry is touted as a model human being at the same time that two fellow female Doctors are ridiculed and vilified, those being Sunetra and Tess. There are those who are fighting back though, and bless ‘em for that. In India there’s been a lawsuit filed against the WHO and/or its representatives for their suppression and vilification of the use of IVM. I look forward to hearing about lawsuits against Merck for their scandalous statement where they has “serious safety concerns” about the use of IVM against SARS-CoV-2 and the disease it causes called Covid-19. They were a noble company in the days when William Campbell worked there. Satoshi Ōmura found a rare type of bacteria near a golf course in Japan and sent it to William and together with the resources, including people, at Merck brought forth a medicine that changed the lives of so many. Children used to have to act as ‘seeing-eye’ kids for adults who had been afflicted by the parasite that causes River Blindness. Satoshi and William co-won the 2015 Nobel Prize in Medicine for the contribution to human health that Ivermectin had brought to the world. The Merck of today refused to do a trial of IVM against C19 in Japan despite facilities being offered for it by KitoSato University. Oh and one of the 4 people to oversee this trial was none other than Satoshi Ōmura. Nuff said.

The level of your ignorance is staggering. IVM’s primary use for its 33 years of human use has been as an anti-parasitic and not an anti-bacterial as you stated. More recently IVM has been found to have anti-viral properties and even more recently to have potent anti-inflammatory ones as well. Yet another member of the wilfully ignorant rabble. 🙉🙈

One year before testing Molnupiravir (in 2020), Merck denounced Ivermectin as not an effective drug versus COVID. Bias can occur at every stange due to many factors like say..techniques..also I made my "calibration standard( which calibrates the instruments) to calibrate my instruments. A sliver of a drop from a blanchet or pipette top or what ever can change the plus or minus by large digits. Thus said, any study would welcome any scrutiny as this helps the "mean", which is all Amy study can do. The more studies, the more questions asked, the more times studies are performed..the more "confidence Mean" can be established. If the powers at be on these studies pushback the more concerns you should have!

You need proper weight, proper nutrition (including adequate vit. C, D, zinc, mag, etc.) and regular aerobic exercise. Ever since this pandemic, the U.S. media has been showing that the majority of people fighting C-19 are overweight and obese, yet the media probably hasn't even noticed what they have been doing. This is backed up by a CDC report showing 78% of all Americans hospitalized/died of C-19 last year were overweight (28%) and obese (50%). And a WHO study shows 88% of all C-19 deaths are in countries that have overweight/obese rates of over 40% (the U.S. is 65%). There have been other reports and studies around the world with similar/same results. Yet after 18 months, hardly anyone has even notice and our so called medical and political leaders haven't said anything. Ridiculous!! And I remember hearing doctors and scientists around the world reporting benefits of certain vitamins and minerals within a few months after the pandemic started. But they were basically thrown under the rug and silenced. And since C-19 is a respiratory virus, isn't it common sense that you should get your respiratory system in shape with regular aerobic exercise? My 71 year old mother's doctor told her to do a daily walk for at least 30 minutes (and why). Yet how many people have you heard on mainstream media saying this? Our society is in a twilight zone.

Remember the old science rule: correlation is not causation. Just because 28% of the people who died were 'overweight' and half of them were 'obese' doesn't really mean anything scientifically. I just don't think your numbers necessarily translate into a significant scientific finding. We all already know that we shouldn't be overweight, we should be active, and we should get proper nutrition. Your chances of surviving almost ANY illness are improved by those things. So...it's just not really a news bulletin. But mainly, the correlation/causation thing.

However Zinc alone can't enter the cell membrane it needs a transport or Ionophore to deliver the Zinc inside the cell to block the ACE2 receptor. Block the ACE2 you stop the virus. What meds are Zinc Ionophores? Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine the very two meds Dr Risinger is forbidden to prescribe to you prophylactically or as a therapeutic. Since the CDC and FDA blocked those meds Dr Risinger will be fired if she chooses to save your life by prescription. The main issue affecting oncogenicity and teratogenicity is how specific the drug is for RNA-dependent RNA polymerase as opposed to DNA polymerases. From this standpoint, the data provide a reason for concern only at dosages in far excess of what you would be prescribing

She said that part of her concern with this new drug was the absence of long term studies of the effect of this drug; but isn’t this the case with the vaccine. Let me say this clearly. All pharmaceutical drugs are liver toxic, and the efficacy of these agents is seriously in question.

Water is deadly in high enough dosage.
Oxygen is deadly in high enough dosage.
Certain things are worse for say, your liver, than others and where it is known what too high a dose does we have warning labels.
This is partly why it's important to take medication as directed or follow the little directions on the label. Where there is limited information, such as with a new drug, observation is important.
Being cautious to not overdo things or mix in other drugs or alcohol or sometimes grapefruit is important whether new or established medicine.
Your liver is the filter for your whole body. Crudding it up with anything will probably cause damage. Even if it's from a "natural" source.
Tl;dr; the dose makes the poison.

@@ShadowFoxSF ShadowFox , I like your name … but, you cannot compare water intoxication with the adverse effects of pharmaceutical drugs. And yes, ‘the dose makes the poison’, but how do you know what a safe dose for a particular individual REALLY IS. That is why every second person develops a serious health condition (a disease) after taking pharmaceutical medications.

@@sneakypressthanks. But uh. Every 2nd person? I would argue fewer than 50% of people that take, say, Tylenol end up in the hospital with liver failure after a single, normal dose they took for pain.
I don't study the biology or pharmacology or whatever nor do i work for the FDA to understand how a "safe dosage" is measured or determined...
I have learned that medicine delivery methods require different dosing because of how our body metabolizes the drugs.
I have learned that grapefruit juice can cause your body to absorb MORE of some drugs than normal, bringing it's effects beyond therapeutic to possibly problematic.
Countless drugs say don't drink alcohol, some say take with food (and hoo buddy did it make me puke when I took such a medicine on an empty stomach. Never made that mistake again.)
The medicines we have now have been tested at length to determine dosage based on method of administration. People more well versed than I have done these studies.
Just eat regularly and don't take certain pills on an empty stomach.... maybe don't include grapefruit juice in that food you fill your tummy with. And don't mix other drugs (esp. barbituates such as beer) in with the one you are taking...
Directions are important even if we don't understand every painstaking detail about why they are that way. And if you get a therapeutic effect out if a smaller dose, use the smaller dose.

Mutations are a huge concern. IVM has no such side effects, has been in use for decades and has been used by hundreds of doctors for thousands of patients successfully! IVM is a tiny fraction of the cost.

No money no honey. Then rather sell a useless toxic overpriced pill. Because that's what Big Pharma drug gangs do.
But people. It's not their fault. You let them. If you live in a real democracy you can send the corrupt politicians, FDA/NIH/EMA management, collaborating media magnates etc. to prison and make rules to stop this.
