I bought this shoe after a month when it came out. As soon as I put it on I love the fit and The Rocker motion. On a lot of shoes the rocking motion dies and gets weaker over time, not this shoe it holds up. It is the fastest shoe I own. I am not a hill Striker but I still put a gel insert in the shoe just to give it a little shock resistance. But this is my favorite shoe for all 5K races going forward. Oh, and one more thing this is my new favorite trail shoe. My wife and I took it out on a half-marathon that was a trail going down the river. We both set PR's that day. The shoe was fast on the trail didn't collect mud and we had way more traction than almost every other Runner. It is just crazy how stupid fast this shoe really is. And for me and my wife, the shoe does not even feel heavy for racing. I personally think this is way faster and way more comfortable for at least me over the Saucony endorphin Speed 2. Great Track Shoe.
I forgot to tell you the most important thing that I changed on those shoes. After my first run in them they just felt hard and they were missing something. The shoe basically has no insole in it. At the same time it has plenty of room to insert your insole. I put in insole from Asics Tri 13. Only after doing this did I love this you.
This shoe might turn out to work very well for some specific conditions such as local triathlons over the olympic distance. 10k should be in the sweet spot for this shoe, and that outsole (as per Mizuno, I have a pair of Skies I clocked about 1000k in, the outsole is still firmly there) might work really well over mixed terrain - as it's very often the case in trias, at least around here in Berlin.
The colorway is just so beautiful... their on sale here. You know if there is any diffrence for the male/female version as in stats ? Edit: ow that's odd it's firm. Enerzy supposed to be softest foam on the market .. that's good to know not gonna get these then

It would be good to have a top 5 of shoes that can be used for speed runs and easy ones.
Would you think that £70 is a good deal for this shoe? Plus I’m 102kg so thinking the firmness would be better for me ?
