Good luck
Fingers crossed you change your mind on reviewing the Pro 2. C’mon Mizuno, send Chris a pair
Only if you run a certain speed will they send you a pair 🤦♂️
Mizuno has some cool looking shoes this year. I appreciate that not only are they making a lot more effort now, but they look like they are somewhat doing their own thing. They arent obviously copying anyone, amd seem to be trying to be a bit different in what they are trying to do.
Good point
Great review! Thanks a lot!
Mizuno has some of the best uppers and outsoles across their lineup, so breathable and good lock down in every model. Durable shoes. Not sure though if their foams are on par with the best ones, which leads me to think if they are a bit overpriced given performance… but I like Mizuno a lot, think their branding is very down to earth and not in your face. Sometimes I take wave riders out for a short run.
Good points here
Are these good for 5K runs on road?
just found a pair online for 105€, could not resist.
@@ozenfant_ozn tell us where
I tested and reviewed this shoe out myself and you’re pretty much spot on with my take on it. The only issue I had was that it was rubbing on my right toes and causing some irritation.
I raced a full marathon in them (Mesa Marathon in Mesa, AZ) and they worked out well. It’s a fun shoe to run in 👍
Agreed
Well they are releasing a super trainer in June per the running shoe event in Austin so that should be more up against the boston 12 etc.
Let’s see
Is that the Neo Vista I’ve been hearing about?
Thanks for identifying that this is not for pronating runners. I am a Flat foot and I need a recommendation for a RACE-DAY SUPER SHOE (currently have Vaporfly 2 but its very hard on the ankle and stability area). Looking to run my 1st Marathon and need advise for a slightly STABLE RACE DAY SHOE please.
Thanks for letting us know about the stability factor. I run in Mizuno Wave Horizon and am looking for a racing shoe. Hard to find when you pronate!
I wear 40 , 40 2/3 on adidas. Should y get 41 on these Mizuno? Thank you.
"GORDON'S ALIVE"
🤣🤣🤣
Heel striker here… these shoes have actually vastly improved my performance and have caused no issues for me. Great for 10k/halfs imo
how does is compared to Boston 12
Worse
Great video Chris, seems like a niche usage shoe
Most definitely!💯
Flying blind on a rocket cycle?!?!?!
Really like both the pro and the flash..the pro is a lighter and faster version of the flash and my PB 10k shoe..very squishy and easy on the feet and legs..will be interesting to see where they position the new one coming out cos the flash and pro are very close together and ride/race almost the same..
Very true it’s meant to be more user friendly
Good morning. Interesting description. Like to Fordy. A nice weekend for everyone.
Same to you
Greetings from Virginia. The “marmite shoe” took me a second to catch, but that’s hilarious. Im trying to think of an American equivalent
Thank you!
Given American politics and this shoe's geometry, it is definitely a "wedge shoe." If seeking a polarizing American food term, we could opt for anchovy, blue cheese, Brussels sprouts, cilantro, red meat, meatless meat, or pineapple pizza shoe. Certainly it is the opposite of an apple pie, peanut-butter-and-jelly, or meat-and-potatoes shoe. 😉
@@geoffb2900 I really like “Brussels sprouts shoes”.
