If you are a beginner, the Nirvana catalog and especially Nevermind is great material. Nice work LJB including All Apologies in this video. Kurt Cobain made more than just about anyone with simple chord progressions. Iconic songs that are excellent for newer players to gain confidence. Excellent video series.

Simply awesome. As a total newbie, I searched around for someone who I could 1- listen to, 2- keep up with, and 3- enjoy learning from. John Lee Blackmore hit all 3 with ease. Loving these lessons! Thanks so much. My playing actually sounds like music now and I feel like I’m progressing fairly quickly. Well done!
Just beautiful man. Absolute clueless beginner now 9 months in playing my daughter's unused Taylor and I can finally play most of these tunes reasonably well. Thank you.
Needless telling you how wonderful you are. You must have heard that millions of times. Nevertheless, let me put it in a simple way: "You are a rare gem, one of a kind"; and I am grateful for coming across you (your lessons portray your beautiful soul). Keep it up and remain blessed.
The visual format, with the chords appearing on screen as you play, is the easiest to follow. Haven't seen it anywhere else. If this is unique to you, you're a genius.
a tip i learned recently (I am far from being able to teach I'm not a beginner but I'd consider myself a novice) instead of having your fingers 123 on the A chord play it 213 so your index finger stays on the same string throughout the song. made it much easier for me to transition between chords!
Always wanted to play the guitar after singing all my life. I'm now 40 and just starting to learn. These videos have been really helpful and the best I've found on UA-cam. Thanks
Awesome tutorial! Just found this video and you explain everything very clearly, also helps a ton showing the chord diagram when you are playing each chord.
Hello 65 year old. I just wanted to say I've heard so many people say That they play well, they are watching TV. And practice and Fiddle around with it. And I think that's great advice. Have an old western movie playing on low volume and sit there and have fun and Play and Learn.
Two months ago i watched this video and try to play this songs but isn't worked after a lot practice today can play almost all of them 😅 thank your for the great lessons cheers 🎸✌🏼
That was brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed that especially Johnny be good! Thanks so much, you made this beginners day!, ( midnight cowboy pretty please 👌)
A wonderful and great teacher! Thanks a lot for all your efforts and videos. You are really a great mind. You make difficult techniques appear easy. And you are very engaging. Thanks very much. Not only my thumb, all my hands are up. Thanks a million!
Love this and thanks so much for posting. I’m a newbie and just getting going, and like many of the comments, you make it easy to follow and make me sounds like I’m actually playing music. Brilliant!!
Your videos are brilliant and reduced to the most simple explanation (not overcomplicating simple things, clear and easy). Absolutely great teacher. You have yourself a new subscriber, thank you Sir
Thanks for this I was looking on some songs to play because I was bored so I’m gonna learn a few of these and I do the chord version of Johnny b good so I’m gonna try learn the other one
You Got me bro!! Appreciate the lessons you do for those beginners, I know how frustrating sometimes when you want to learn someting but theres just no one there to look up to...I was once a beginner myself. Appreciate you bro. 💪👍
Wow I thought I was doing great practising chords. Turns out I don't know the first thing about strumming. Will have to practice this a lot just to get strumming correct.

As a beginner it can get frustrating. Going back to your easy songs and just having a good old strum is most uplifting. Cheers Lee!
