There is no reason to think he did this in one take, (or "on a row"). Plenty of jump cuts and camera angle changes to allow for corrections and song changes. This is a great video, there is just no reason to think it was an "all in a row" in one take situation.

@@MAGAMAN he uses several camera angles but there are no jump cuts. I seriously don't think you know what a jump cut is. I'm saying this as a filmmaker with 50 films under my belt and you're just throwing an idiot comment out there wow. You might want to take the time look up the guitar player magazine story about this project. He had to stop and start two or three times because of the camera capabilities but other than that it's one continuous take.
Hi Gavin! Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoy my guitar playing. Music has always been a passion of mine, and it's wonderful to know that others appreciate it as well. I'll certainly do my best to continue playing and improving. Thank you for the encouragement!
The crazy thing about being a guitar player is you have this sub conscious library of riffs. I was at at a party and someone had just bought an electric guitar and was noodling around. Someone mentioned the scorpions and asked if I knew anything from them. I said give me a second. After jarring my memory went into the first section of Big City Nights. The human brain is amazing!
I remember this being one of the first videos I watched after I had just started playing; I was looking for good riffs to learn. Thanks for this video, it definitely had a big impact on my guitar journey.
So many of these are from my time period! It was like being transported back in time for an instant, standing in the front of the stage with thousands of sweaty teens shoving me - I love it!
Not to throw stones, but there are many 'jump cuts' in the video, given a jump cut is a cut in the middle of an action. Can't take advantage of the many cameras without them.
But it doesn't defeat the point that there might be Cuts hidden in the cuts. I think it doesn't matter, the video is great with or without hidden cuts ;D
Remembering all the memories each in every song while listening.. .. Good, bad, foolish, funny, secrets, ....the good ol' days 🖤🖤🖤🤘🤘🤘....the hippies and the rock and rolls....made me smile 😊
I sat & listened to the whole video. Absolutely seamless invetween riffs. He looks so relaxed though aswell, hard work, passion & dedication is displayed in its finest form here. Much respect! 🤝💯
Very well done! Excellent playing and didn't hesitate for the donation no matter what amount. Great tabs to have! You should do a 2nd set of 100 riffs :). Still enough tunes available on the planet.
Hi Christophe. Thank you very much for your support. Yes, 2nd set is my next plan for the near future. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of time to create videos like that.

I love classic rock and I love listening to the guitar. You’ve helped me remember some gems that I don’t have in my collection...but should. To iTunes I go!
Really impressed with how you managed to capture the sound of all of these, including some of the necessary sounds of other instruments, so that each clip is close to how the original sounds. I'm envious of your setup!
Even with the short sections, this video was a trip through almost 55 years of my music loving life. (tbh, didn't notice what the oldest was but I am 55 loll) So much memories. Thank you.
Hi Mavadelo! I'm so glad to hear that this video was able to take you on a trip down memory lane. Music has a way of being a time capsule, capturing and preserving moments and emotions that we can revisit through listening. I'm happy that this video was able to evoke such a powerful response from you. Thanks for your positive comment!
@@rickburker Nothing yet. What's really frustrating is I know I've heard it 3000 times before, and the one ending riff showed up on, of all things, a workplace fail video. Cant find that again either. A wasted mind is a terrible thing.
This list is pretty much a mirror image of every classic rock radio station or spotify playlist ever made. xD Not bashing it, in fact this video is pretty awesome (great playing for sure!) ... but it is kinda sad that classic rock stations/playlists never seem to include B-sides, non-singles, or rarities of any kind. I get very bored of hearing these songs every day at work.
I would rather listen to these than those pop-music radios where there is also some stupid advertisement after every 2nd or 3rd song, not to mention that they play like five songs all time .. tragic.
I take your point but must admit to never having heard Coheed and Cambria on the radio, suggests to me that Konrad played a whole lot of music that he loves
Hi Chroethe! Thank you for your positive comment! You're welcome, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Indeed, music is the universal language of the world.

He's counting the content of the video, not commenting on the quality of music produced. This vid had Valens' "La Bomba" and Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" from the 50's, and that was all.
Thanks so much for this video, as a beginner I find this video very inspiring. You picked a lot of great music and played it well. Hopefully I can play like this someday😊 Also, I was wondering if any of these would be playable on an acoustic? Thanks.
Thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully done and well put together work. Critics, calm down, pick up a guitar and post your own video or shut up. He did an excellent well executed job of highlighting the guitar riffs that stick with you forever.
Same here. That riff has to be the all-time favorite since many generations after it was produced has passed, and the new generation and new guitar player since shall regardless prefer that riff to be the first they'll learn on guitar. That's crazy amazing.

There are 5 million jump cuts in this song that could potentially have hidden five million mistakes.

He had to stop and start two or three times because of the camera capabilities but other than that it's one continuous take.
i thought some of these need to be tuned to get different sounds

Did this guy just play these all in a row without a break from memory?!? God level!
The human brain is amazing!

the fact not one jump cut, you sir are a legend
I agreed with you until this 32:48 unfortunate as it may be, there is a cut here.
Not to throw stones, but there are many 'jump cuts' in the video, given a jump cut is a cut in the middle of an action. Can't take advantage of the many cameras without them.
@@woodenspoon6222 No, I disagree. A Jump cut is a cut within the same Shot. What you mean is just a Cut.
But it doesn't defeat the point that there might be Cuts hidden in the cuts. I think it doesn't matter, the video is great with or without hidden cuts ;D

True, that's why you make your own playlist :)
You should listen to Radio Paradise, they play a lot of obscure artists or obscure songs by popular artists
Fuzz FM and
I would rather listen to these than those pop-music radios where there is also some stupid advertisement after every 2nd or 3rd song, not to mention that they play like five songs all time ..

The guitar riffs per decade:
1940s
1950s II
1960s IIIIIIIIIII
1970s IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
1980s IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
1990s IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
2000s III
2010s
Maybe the 50s are a little better than you listed, many blues and early rock were foundation. Chuck Berry alone
He's counting the content of the video, not commenting on the quality of music produced. This vid had Valens' "La Bomba" and Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" from the 50's, and that was all.
f lotars the 70s needs to be a tad bit lower and the 90s needs a tad bit more because 60 percent of those riffs were by metallica
Sadly, we don't have as much music with guitar playing in it this decade.
I know it's sad but true
Thanks so much for this video, as a beginner I find this video very inspiring. You picked a lot of great music and played it well. Hopefully I can play like this someday😊 Also, I was wondering if any of these would be playable on an acoustic? Thanks.
